Terra simply nodded in response, and the young soldier left them to their own devices.

Once he had left, she turned to her companion.

"I shall assume that you are currently wearing your combat attire? It would be best if you obtained something less conspicuous as soon as possible." she said, then gestured to her own outfit. "I have obtained a suitable source of clothing if needed."

Don't worry, I got that under control... 'Scuse me a sec. *Disgui ducks into a nearby alleyway, figuring it would make a good hiding spot. She takes a second to look around and, once she's content she's safe, Disgui places a hand over the Disgui Charm at her neck.* Disgui Out. *One flash of light later, Disgui has transformed back into Shiki, clad in her usual suit. That done, Shiki steps back out and approaches Terra.* And now I'm in my real form. Shiki Richardson, private detective. Sorry if I didn't make the best first impression before.

Keiko thinks for a bit. *I wonder, is this really it for me? I mean I wasn't a bad person, I just had some rotten luck.* Keiko thought before fading again.

The figure stands there, saying the same thing, repeating himself, over. She can hear a bit more from the dark form. "world... hole... falling.... absolute... nothingness..." It is clearly the cause of what has stop the time. But why is it just her that isn't effected, seems this is meant just for her. The figure seems to be letting of the aura of darkness surrounding it now.

Ganymede can't hold back her building power anymore she swings her hammer around like a baton and then takes it in both of her hands. "Ganymede Meteor Hammer Mash!" Ganymede says as she hammers the ground she then shoulders her hammer and uses her free hand to send out her ultimate non-talisman attack. "Ganymede Rock Slide Wave Wallop!"

The shock wave from the hammer continues to head through the ground forming a path straight at her opponent. The attack she executed with her free hand also headed straight for her opponent. As the two attacks combined the were heading straight for the heart of the monster. Would the two attacks hit or not. She was anxiously waiting for the result.

OOC: Confound my character's inability to be snarky at Shiki's introduction....

It must be said, Terra had not even considered the method Disgui used to alter her outfit. In her world, such methods had been considered but eventually discarded as highly impractical in comparison to simply making military equipment more space efficient or simply casting an illusion spell.

Even so, something was off...

"How interesting." she said, "You have placed a matter projection spell into your amulet, coupled with a memory inhibitation spell to prevent identification. Effective, but inefficient."

It was then that the penny dropped.

"Your mystic aura is..." she trailed off, unable to comprehend what this could mean. Thinking that it was most likely a glitch in her sensors, she leaned in closer, focusing on the girl in front of her. She was correct; her aura had receded to only slightly above that of a normal human (by this world's standards. In her world, given the sheer quantities of stagnant mana in the air, anyone of that low power would have died in a matter of days.), a feat that to Terra's knowledge was impossible.

There was however, a considerable amount of mana within the amulet above and beyond the spell used for the outfit change. To put it into perspective, the 'light' of a human is that of a candle, while this amulet was almost like the sun in the sky; brimming with power. True, Terra had seen far greater power, namely that of her dead world, but it was still uncomfortable to look at directly.

A phalactory? No, this energy was inanimate and did not have the sickly pattern of necromancy. It also seemed to be bonded to Shiki, rather than her bonded to it. There were a few emotions and mannerisms embedded in it, but that was so common that it did not warrant observation. Whatever it was, it required further study.

"You draw you magic from your amulet, yes?" Terra inquired, "It does not match any enchantment technique I have ever seen. As such I would like to study it further."

For that though she would need to set up a proper workshop, something she had intended on doing anyway.

"Later though. I do not have the means to do so yet and we still need to acquire suitable identification."

And de-transformation successful! Oddly enough people seem to still avoid alleys in this world, or she just had good timing. Returing to Terra how does Shiki explain her situation to the girl. Seems she has already figured out most everything about her abilities that even she didn't know just yet. But how can she explain it? Perhaps there is more to Terra than it seems.
Terra however might start wondering about the others that are her allies as well. Who are they? And what abilities might they hold. One might call it curiosity. But would it truly be that? To her it might be called data gathering. Either way she knows that the others should show up soon enough.
Of course there is the big imposing building before them still, in front of them, waiting for them to enter.

It seems like right before she fully fades a figure steps over her, for a moment she thinks it is one of the EMT's noticing her vitals dropping. But then he speaks to her. "You don't want to die?" His voice seems to pierce her existence, down to her very soul. "You do not hear it. But I do." It is then that the man offers his hand to her. "Kenji Shirayuki. You already know who I am." Looking at the man he can see that the man is impossibly thin, with pale skin. He is dressed in a white suit that makes him look a well paid business man. He definately doesn't feel like he is a human, and how did this man know Keiko's real name.

The figure stands there, not seeming to be avoiding the attacks at all. Not moving from the spot, does it want to be destroyed? Maybe but the attacks hit it dead on. It being hit by the full force of them. It didn't even try. Why didn't it fight back? Or move? Or something. Either way the attacks are giving their best chance for maximum damage.

Hitomi sits back down, waiting and watching. Uncomfortably, shifting in the tighter clothes. She starting to think on her last battle again, maybe she should give the others pointers. She really wasn't fighting with them or against them. She was just there when the enemies were too tough for them. She looks up noticing the boy standing before her, giving him a imposing glare.
"Hey. Sorry. I.." He seems to forgot what he was saying. "Ohh right. I was going to say. Can I spar with you next time? Maybe I can learn something from you. Miss?"
"Sure." Hitomi responds without thinking. She doesn't give a name, because he called her miss for one and for two she doesn't care to.
The boy nods and the two run off.

*Ganymede panics and tries to jump in the path of her own attack, but is too late as the dual attacks hit the figure with no apparent attempt by the figure to dodge or stop the attack. The figure didn't even try to attack her back. What was the deal with that? Also the dual attack does maximum damage output into the figure. It is definitely a sure thing that the figure will not survive the onslaught of power that Ganymede put behind the two attacks. Isn't it? Her Princess would not approve of this at all.

"Hey are you okay? Um whatever you are?" Ganymede asks as she attempts to approach the figure that had been hit by the dual attacks.

Terra nodded and followed Shiki into the registration building.

The inside of the building itself was much like any other administrative building (at least, how it was when it wasn't being attacked by a homonculus designed with combat in mind); busy, disorganized and surprisingly unproductive.
There was a reception desk in the middle of the room that seemed like the most logical place to start.

"Greetings" said the clerk, "How can I help you today?"

"We have only recently arrived here and require identification." said Terra, "I have been told that this is where I go to register myself."

"First off I really don't want to die, secondly even though you said I already knew who you were I don't think we've met before, and three how do you know my real name?" Keiko said to the man.

the man stares at Keiko, like that should be the most apparent thing to him right now. As if the answer was just simple and he should know who he is already. "All mortals know me. All mortals come to me in the end." If that doesn't make it clear then well, Keiko is and idiot because this would a Death. "And of course I know you because your name has appeared on my list. And would you rather I call you by your current name."

Natsuki smiles. " sounds fun to me mom. it will be fun"

"Sure then. Go ahead and try this on then. I'll look for one for myself." Natsuki's mom holds the bikini to her daughter.

The clerk hands each of them a clip board and with multiple sheets of paper attached and pens. "Fills these out and we will see what we can do then." She motions them over to the waiting room, so they can work on the forms. Yay paper work! The papers contain general personal information, name, age, sex, where they came from, birthday, personal ID code(which neither would have.), and more detail information about how they came to New Haven and previous vocations and training. Along with questions on their personalities. Seems the military also handles the job placement too. Some of this might be difficult for them to answer with their situation.

The figure, having made no attempts to avoid the attack seems to be gone. Suddenly Ganymede feelings an imposing darkness behind her along with the soft words of much sadness and despair. "Call. For. Help." Those three words are all she can hear from the figure. She would realize that her attacks didn't seem to effect this creature in the slightest. It reaching for her shoulder with a long semi shaped arm and hand.

Hitomi relaxes once the boys leave, resting her head on the wall nearby. After a moment she closes her eyes, soon asleep.

Himoko opens his eyes finding himself in a barren waste land with very little signs of life on it. He looks down realizing he is male. He smirks, lunging his fist forward, thinking. "This must be a drea...." He suddenly notices a black mass rush pass him. A strange looking creature standing before him, in more of a primal state, sniffing the ground. The creature stands on four pointed claws of toes, each leg going up over its main body and bending back down. It seems to be searching for something, looking around with it almost skeleton like features of its face.
He watches it with interest as it moves but doesn't seem to notice him.

Thank you... *Shiki takes a her forms from the clerk and heads to the waiting room to work on them. The first few questions were easy enough - Shiki Richardson, 27 years old, female... When she gets to the questions regarding her personal history, though, she pauses and turns to Terra.* What should we tell them about where we're from?

Natsuki nod. " Ok mom." She heads off and goes to the changing room and changes into the bikini.

"I see, well I guess it makes sense, and I understand that your Death, and I see my time has come even if it was too early, unless your here to strike some sort of deal." Keiko said.
