Circe's Manor: Re-re-redux!

Bones nods before taking a seat, whichever is immediately available.

"I have it on good authority that you are an expert on color energy, in particular fruit, non? How much do you know about shards though?"

[Circe]

*As it turns out, the table Circe's seated at has a convenient chair for Bones right next to hers. Circe, meanwhile, frowns.* Hn. While I have done some work with the Colors in the past, I'm afraid I haven't had much personal experience with the shards... What do you need to know about them?

[Feng]

"You could say I'm interested in ways to protect oneself from the constant bombardment of color energies. You could say that for my next trick in Muffinville I intend to launch an invasion against the shards themselves! Unfortunately, most past excursions I have hosted have ended poorly.... o///o;;

[Circe]

Because everyone you've sent in has been transformed by the ambient energies of the shard, I presume... Well, I have invented a few ways of warding off Color and non-Color-based transformations in the past, but I'm not sure how helpful they'd be against that level of exposure. You interested at all?

[Feng]

"But of course. That's why I am here after all." ^^

[Circe]

Right, of course. I think I do have something on me that should help you... *Circe reaches into a pocket in her dress and, after a second of searching, pulls out a gold medallion on a chain.* This medallion has an enchantment on it that should prevent most forms of transformation from affecting the wearer... Though again, I can't say for sure how it would hold up in a Color Shard. If you'd like, I'll let you borrow it for a while so you can do whatever tests you need.

*Echo makes his way into the room via Bones' shadow and positions himself in one corner, staying out of everyone's way like a good kitty should. He seems to be ignoring the conversation altogether.*

"Its a start. I shall have my minions at Area M investigate it further."

[Circe]

"That concludes my business for now, Madame Circe. However, we will likely require your services in the future so we will be in touch. In the meantime allow me to express my gratitude for your cooperation"

With a snap of his fingers Bones summons a Chibiwanbanshu operative from the shadows. The ninja walks up to Circe with a briefcase and opens it, revealing hundreds of HL notes.

"Will this be enough to cover your services?" ^^

[Circe]

It'll do. *Circe takes the briefcase from the ninja and closes it.*

[Feng]

"A pleasure conducting business then." ^^

He turns to his minion. "Come! We have further business to conduct" he says turning to leave.

[Circe]

*Outside the room, Bones finds Flora still waiting by the door.* So, um, it sounds like you and Miss Circe are done talking... Would you like me to show you back to the door?

[Feng]

"If you please" ^^

All right. Please, follow me... *Flora bows and begins to lead the way back to the front entrance.*
