Echo: Indeed. This is the second time she's taken a prolonged trip. My littermates are getting annoyed.

Yeah, sure... *Circe moves the cloth on the table around to clear a corner for Echo.*

Echo: *jumps up onto the indicated corner and reassumes his previous pose* Mother's weakness to iron has become increasingly debilitating.

Yeah, she mentioned that when she asked if you could stay with me...

Echo: *tail twitches* So, she made plans for her trip. When Dad and Ellen tried to talk her out of it, she was quite adamant in her refusal to listen; you couldn't see it on Ellen's face, but if you saw her you could probably tell she was angry.
