Circe's Manor: Re-re-redux!

*Dana nods.* ...Do you mind if I ask what you're doing?

[AmbushCat]

Ellen: ...Well, after I get the bowl and water, I'll be reconstructing an aging potion from memory.

[Circe]

From memory? That sounds a little risky...

[AmbushCat]

Ellen: ...It's not as hard as it sounds. I have the ingredients list and general process for it burned into my brain.

[Circe]

*Dana nods.* Sounds like you've studied this sort of thing pretty hard...

[AmbushCat]

Ellen: *vaguely amused* ...Oh, you have no idea.

[Circe]

Hm... *Just then, the maid from before comes back with Ellen's bowl and water.* Oh, thank you, Jen.

A pleasure to help, ma'am! *Jen sets the items down, gives Dana another salute, then goes back to her own business.*

[AmbushCat]

*Ellen nods her own thanks, then sets to work carefully mixing the items together.*

Ellen: ...You probably weren't going to ask me, but this isn't one of the more volatile recipes. The floor's safe on that score.

[Circe]

Ah. Good to hear.

[AmbushCat]

*Ellen doesn't offer anything else by way of reply. She chants to herself as she works, a soft glow settling on her clothing. Finally, after she is satisfied that everything is mixed to her satisfaction, she takes the concoction and downs the whole thing in one go.*

*It doesn't kick in for a few moments, but kick in it does. Ellen stands up straight after the transformation runs its course, leaning on the pinball machine for support, and nods when she sees that she is back in her teenage form.*

Ellen: ... Well. That worked.

[Circe]

*Dana claps a little as Ellen's transformation finishes.* Very impressive...

[AmbushCat]

Ellen: ...Thank you.

*Ellen stoops down to collect what is left (just the bowl and the empty bag at this point)... and falls on her face when the ever-present issue of 'balance' rears its ugly head.*
*muffled* ...Would've been more impressive if I'd managed to stick the dismount.

[Circe]

Oh, my... *Dana rushes over to help Ellen up.* You're not hurt, are you?

[AmbushCat]

Ellen: *accepts the help and pulls herself up, using Dana's arm for support* ...I'm alright. I just forgot that my center of gravity wasn't what it was as a kid.

[Circe]

*Dana chuckles a little.* Yeah, those sudden shifts can be kinda rough...
