An Offer they Can't Refuse

Jen chuckles a bit... and keeps on playing until she is out of the money she was loaned... then she folds. She had enough of gambling, trying to take a loan from gangsters.

Zipping up the dress over her... the difference is notable... she looks even more feminine... the garment accentuating her female features wonderfully... looking into the mirror... she sees a pretty girl looking back...

And this time, Amy's reflection really is that of a girl. Before, it had just been a good imitation. But the feeling of those panties confirms it. Amy is in every way shape and form a woman, and looks the part well. She thought about sharing this new "development" to Melissa, but decides against it. Instead, she turns on the TV, and flips through the channels. Perhaps she'll find something that will cheer her up enough to be more friendly to her friend when she next sees her.

And so Tony cleans up, just barely making more than he put in. He stands, and Hannah with him. He reaches over and pats Jen on the shoulder. "You did all right, for a beginner. I... assume you're new at cards, from the choices you made on the table." Hannah leans heavily on his arm. "Well, not all of the girls here have played cards as much as I have." Tony nods. "Indeed your... affectionate friend here is quite the card whisperer." Hannah giggles.

Jen blushes a bit... "I'm not much of a gambler..." She says.

Melissa finds the same mix of... well... girly shows. Soaps, fashion shows, home makeover shows...

Amy flips through, feeling kind of bored... until she finds something that looks a little more romantic. She blushes as she remembers how she connected with the one movie she saw with the wedding and watches for a bit to see if this one is as interesting.

"That's all right. Perhaps you have skills that lie elswhere." He winks again, and Hannah motions with her head for Jen to get closer.

Amy finds a romance! It ends up rather drawing her in... its... pretty good! It has funny parts... touching parts... and seems to focus around relationships between men and women.

Amy leaves it on and gets comfortable. She finds herself getting engrossed in the movie, and watches quietly as she tries to see how it turns out. Although... she finds the relationships business a little less interesting than the rest.

Tony smiles and pulls Jen into a side hug! It feels... nice. "Maybe you can be a lucky charm like Hannah? I might need it... I have a hankering to play some roulette." Hannah nods slowly, and gives Jen a clandestine thumbs up.

Jen giggles a little... leaning against him. "I'll certainly do my best, sir... and I hope to bring you the best of luck..."

Amy finds the relationship business to slowly become more and more engrossing... and by the end she begins to think of how SHE would deal with the situations if she was involved with the male protagonists...

Amy slowly leaned forward during the show, and finally leans back once it's done. How would she deal with the men on the show? She rubs her chin... The first was a lawyer, and pretty smooth. But he seemed to be full of himself. She'd have to test and see if he could humble himself a bit. The second one was a fitness specialist, and the girls in the show were all hot and bothered by him... until he spoke. He was dumb as a post, and Amy didn't think he could hold the kind of conversations she liked to have. The last guy had been kind, and was a teacher. He was really clumsy. She wasn't sure if it was endearing... or a liability.

Either way, it was entertaining... and somewhat educational. She keeps watching. Maybe something just as good will come on next.

"I'm sure you will!" Tony gives both girls a squeeze as they walk over to the roulette table. He watches for a bit... there are three other players, and none of them seem to be doing all that well. "What do you think? Do we have a chance?" He looks to both Jen and Hannah in turn.

Jen nods... "I'd say the odds could be in our favor..."

Amy keeps watching! As the romance and relationship show ends... the next that starts up seems to be home decorating...

Amy sighs and turns the TV off. The shows aren't exactly helping her feel any more congenial... and the thought of a sad and angry Melissa hangs in the back of her head. She slips on a pair of sandals and heads out to her mentor's room.

"Then let's roll!" Tony gives Jen a squeeze. As he puts down his buy-in, Hannah gives her an approving smile and nod. "All right, girls. Let's try... middle column." He nods to Hannah, and she puts a small stack of chips on the table. The dealer calls all bets, and then starts the wheel. Where will it land?"

Jen blushes a bit... and leans over to watch... wondering how things would go for the guy...

Amy finds the room where it was before... the faint sounds behind it indicating it was occupied... what would she do now?

Amy knocks on the door. "Melissa? It's me... Amy. Can I talk to you?" She breathes deeply, trying to calm herself and stay level-headed.

Round and round the wheel goes, where it stops... is actually fairly evident. Red 23. Tony wins, and gets a stack of chips matching his. "Okay. How about something a little more risky? Any numbers, ladies?" Hmm... A number from 0 to 36... What to choose?

Jen tilts her head... "Well seven is usually lucky... or you could try thirteen... fight luck with reverse psychology."

There is a pause, Melissa's room getting quieter for a moment... then. "Come on in..." Comes the voice of Melissa, still sounding... depressed.

Amy slowly opens the door and steps in, looking down at the floor. "Hi... Um... It's me..." She takes a breath. "I'm sorry about today... I was a real jerk."

Hannah frowns a bit. "Hmm... it hit a high number last time, so a low number would be a good bet." Tony nods. "All right then... How about this?" He has Hannah set two stacks of chips on the lines between 9 and 12, 15 and 18. "There's 7 and 13 for you, honey." And so, the wheel spins again! Will Jen's picks turn out all right?

Jen goes to hold her breath slightly... hoping the guy has good luck...

She finds Melissa lying on her bed... leaning back and reading a very thick red hardback book with gold trimming. She dosent look up from it. "You werent exactly the easiest person to be around."
