Sure, sure. I imagine that would take some getting used to... What about the staff? Have the maids been helpful enough?

Ellen: ...Most certainly. Dana is rather nice... was she TF'ed, or did she join of her own initiative?

[Circe]

Ah. Well, as I recall, I actually brought her in after finding her on the streets and making her a test subject for one of my inventions... She seemed pretty happy to go along with everything, even before the transformation, so hey.

Ellen: ...The generally upbeat sort of individual, then.

[Circe]

Hm, yeah. I guess you could say that...

Ellen: *nods* ...She seemed very patient with us, too. The average caretaker would've had their eyes twitching by now.

[Circe]

*Circe nods.* Yeah, I'd say that's definitely one of her good points. She's always been very patient and willing to work with people... I've never heard any of the other maids complain about her, either.

Ellen: ...With a staff as widely varied as yours, that says something.

[Circe]

Mm. In a way, I guess it does...

Ellen: ...Speaking of friendly maids, I have a question. Has that workaholic you have employed at the shop ever approached you about working here at the Manor? She seems like a nice sort.

[Circe]

You mean Claire? I could have sworn she was working here already...

[AmbushCat]

Ellen: ... ...I don't think so. I've seen her at the store and the eatery, but not here. *shrug* ...But then, I could be wrong.

[Circe]

Maybe it was just the one day, then... But I really did think she'd been here before. Maybe I'll have to ask her...

Ellen: *nod* ...I had the chance to visit her where she was living recently. She told me that in light of her financial circumstances she wanted to ask you for a raise, but that she was hesitant to ask you for fear of what you'd think.

[Circe]

Did she now? ...Well, that's something the two of us would have to discuss between ourselves. Thanks for letting me know, though.
