Circe's Manor: Re-re-redux!

*Circe nods.* Yeah, sure... I guess she does deserve something for all her hard work.

Ellen: ...Great. *stretches a bit* ...Well, I think maybe I ought to let you get back to your work... I've run out of things to talk about.

[Circe]

Oh, all right... Well, it's been nice talking to you. Hope you enjoy the rest of your stay...

[AmbushCat]

Ellen: *nods politely* ...That shouldn't be a problem. See you later.

*Ellen walks out of the room, stumbling at least once but managing to stay upright this time.*

[Circe]

*Circe nods as Ellen leaves the room, then goes right back to whatever her original business was. Meanwhile, Ellen finds Dana waiting for her just outside!*

Ah, Ellen. Did everything with Miss Circe go well?

[AmbushCat]

Ellen: *closes the door behind her* ...Yes. I told her about the potion, we had some polite conversation after that, and I gave her my Mom's payment for babysitting us. Nothing eventful.

[Circe]

Ah, I see. * Dana nods.* Would you like to meet back up with your siblings now? I can show you the way.

[AmbushCat]

Ellen: ... ... *palms her chin* ...I don't know. I really don't know.

[Circe]

Oh. Well, we could do something else, if you'd prefer...

[AmbushCat]

Ellen: ...I suppose... I mean, there's so many things I could try, to fill the gap between now and dinner... but nothing's really striking me as attention-grabbing.

((OOC: Ditto for the author. I think I'm starting to run low on steam with this particular story arc.))
