Anthem City: Fall of the Possum

[Harri-chan]

The teasing names stung as much emotionally as the ball to the face had hurt physically, and Georgia could feel the embarrassment of knowing she was being bullied by a girl only half her own real age. She knew it wasn't a smart idea to attempt a cheer, but seeing the pleading faces of those younger girls behind her tugged at get conscience.

"You better keep your promise...", she mumbled, the least threatening warning to ever be uttered. Shooting Dana a helpless look, she shrugged her shoulders.

"Can I borrow someone's Pom-poms?".

[Blaze]

Dana gives Georgia a look like she was both thankful and concerned. Another girl hands Georgia her pompoms while a third puts the music back on.

[Harri-chan]

Georgia closes her eyes and inhales a deep breath as the music began to fill the gym hall. She tried to remember any routines she'd seen on TV or in movies, but cheerleaders rarely featured in the sort of TV or movies she'd always enjoyed. Still, people were relying on her to protect them... and that's what she was going to do, even if it was the most bizarre way she'd ever stood up to a foe in her whole life.

Grasping the pom-poms, she opened her eyes, which straight away narrowed at Alicia. She brought the pom-poms together in a clapping motion and lifted her knees to march on the spot in time to the music. After a couple of repetitions, she thrust both pom-poms down to her sides, only to rise the right one up over head at the same time as stepping forward on her right foot, then doing the same with her left pom-pom and left foot.

She went back through the steps, moving her left foot back, bringing her left arm down, and then her right. Her cheeks were going red, and she tried her best to ignore the feeling of her tiny skirt flicking up as she moved, crossing her arms over in front of herself, shaking the pom-poms down by her thighs before swinging both arms up over her head and jumping up!

[Blaze]

A few of the older cheerleaders raise an eyebrow at the performance, some of the younger ones starting to cheer Georgia on! Alicia's face seems to become even angrier though, robbed of the chance to further humiliate the girl.

"Feh... amateur at best..." she mutters.

[Harri-chan]

Even though she was apparently getting the better of Alicia, Georgia didn't exactly feel pleased. In fact, she felt utterly ridiculous! Her heart was racing, as she could feel her knees trembling, resulting in the occasional mis-step. However, in the back of her head, she was urging herself to be a little more... spectacular. Side-stepping and Pom-Pom shaking was surely something even girls half her age coukd master!

As the song built towards it's finale, with the girls behind her cheering, Georgia saw her chance to strike a meaningful blow in this battle with Alicia. She twisted her hips sharply, leaping up off the ground at the same time. For a split second, she twirled in the air like an experienced ballet dancer, her panties fully on display as the short skirt rose up, her auburn ponytail swinging out in a wide arc around her.

Every cheerleader could see the moment it all went wrong however. The first of her red and gold sneakers came back down at entirely the wrong angle, and the graceful display was shattered instantly! Her balance was entirely off, and she staggered to one side, only to overcompensate her lean, and she ended up stumbling right into Alicia, skinny arms latching around the bully reflexively to break her fall.

[Blaze]

Alicia cries out in surprise as Georgia practically land son her, stumbling backwards into the crown of older girls, all of whom scatter for fear of being floored. Alicia lands on her back, Georgia's face likely landing right in her chest.

The gym goes deathly quiet as Alicia's face burns with embarrassment and rage, glaring at Georgia.

[Harri-chan]

Georgia's eyes widened as she felt Alicia stumbling back, yet her arms wouldn't release the older girl, and she was suddenly jerked forward again, tripping over her own feet before being pulled down to the floor with her! Her skirt flicked up as her butt rose into the air behind her, and she let out a surprised yelp as her face landed against the other cheerleader's chest.

Her arms were now pinned beneath Alicia, her skinny legs tangled up with those of the older girl too, and as she squirmed breathlessly in an attempt to get free, she was bunching up not only her own skirt but Alicia's too. Lifting her head slightly, she met the other girl's gaze and her heart sunk when she saw the anger that was being directed at her.

"Y-You're the one that made me do it without practicing first... ".

[Blaze]

"Get the hell off me you brat!" Alicia shrieks, trying to sit up, having the unfortunate side effect of her chest being directly pushed into Georgia's face, pushing against the younger girl's head with her hand.

Some of Georgia's fellow cheerleaders rush over to help her get back up.

[Harri-chan]

Georgia winced as Alicia's breasts nudged against her face before she was pushed back. Now with her hands free, she tumbled backwards as the older girl sat up, instead leaving Georgia sprawled on her back. Her cheeks were burning brightly as she saw red and gold sneakers hurrying along the floor towards her, and glanced up along the long legs with a wince as she felt them lifting her to her feet.

"Thanks... ", she said weakly, looking utterly humiliated, strands of auburn hair having come free of her ponytail to trail unevenly against the sides of her face. Her legs were trembling, and she was taking deep breaths to try and calm herself, leaning forward slightly with her hands on her knees. Even though she was trying her best to avoid it, her brown eyes strayed over to Alicia once more.

[Blaze]

Alicia is getting to her feet as well... but the other cheerleaders aren't helping her up, One is actually discretely slipping a cellphone into her pocket. She glowers at Georgia with hate-filled eyes and storms out of the gym, stopping at the door to spin on her heels and point dramatically at Georgia.

"I'll see that you pay for this..." she growls before leaving, the others following after her, a few giving the younger cheerleaders some apologetic murmurs.

[Harri-chan]

Georgia swallowed a deep breath as as Alicia pointed at her and delivered her threat, before breathing a sigh of relief as the older girl left the gym. Straightening herself up, she looked around the group of cheerleaders in embarrassment, although she wasn't sure which was worse, the fact she'd demonstrated herself to be a spectacular klutz, or that a girl that she still thought of being younger than her now made her so nervous.

"Sorry... ", she mumbled, crossing over to the dropped pom-poms, and bent to scoop them up before returning them to the girl that had let her borrow them. She lifted a hand to rub at the back of her neck, letting out a deep sigh.

"I guess there's no place for such clumsiness on the squad... I'll go change... ", she said, her shoulders slumped, her posture one of defeat and disappointment. She was actually quite surprised at just how sad she felt at the thought of not being able to become a cheerleader after all. Becoming one had seemed so embarrassing, yet she knew it would definitely help her get used to this body... and now she was sure she'd have to find another way to accomplish that as she began to trudge back towards the changing room door.

[Blaze]

As Georgia goes towards the changing rooms, Dana grabs her by the arm firmly!

"What are you talking about, that was amazing! Sure you fumbled at the end but... everything up to then was awesome for someone who hasn't cheered before. You're a natural!"

The others gather around and start pleading for Georgia to join!

[Harri-chan]

As her arm was grabbed, she came to a stop and looked up at Dana in surprise. She seemed hesitant at first as she listened to the girl praise her attempted routine, and then slowly turned to look around at the others. Relief flooded through her again, and she briefly thought back to concerns Suzie had shown about her emotional balance a couple of days earlier. Her moods were up and down, flipping from one extreme to the other in a matter of seconds, just like a teenager that was at the mercy of her hormones. She blushed, throwing her arms around Dana, and gave her a squeeze, along with a kiss on the cheek that lingered a little.

"I was really okay?", she asked with a shy smile, her brown eyes looking around the girls. "If you want me... of course I'll join. I just figured with the way I fell... ", she murmured before shrugging her shoulders. Everything became a blur as she went from one girl to the next, giving them hugs. She'd never been used to anywhere near as much physical contact as an adult, but it felt so good, even with the embarrassment of all their large chests pressing against her own as she embraced her new squad mates.

[Blaze]

"Even we fall sometimes, and you were really put on the spot. You still did great!" Dana says with a smile, hugging back and pecking Georgia on the cheek.

As she goes from cheerleader to cheerleader, they all smile and hug back, introducing themselves, a whirl of new names to learn.

[Harri-chan]

Georgia couldn't ever remember meeting so many people at once before. Her tumble was soon forgotten and the shortness of her skirt ignored as she mingled with the cheerleaders. Eventually she ended up back at Dana and puffed out her cheeks.

"Interesting way to spend lunch break, huh?", she murmured. "I wonder what Alicia is gonna try this time".
