Right then. *Circe nods and looks back to the waitress.* Make it two for now. A third might be coming later.

Waitress #73: Alright. Would you like a booth or a table?

Callista: A table, please.

Waitress #73: Table it is. *takes a pair of menus* This way, please--- *struggling* Hup...! C'mon...!

*The waitress slowly leads them towards a free table, trying her best to carry a pair of 70-page menus without falling over.*

Callista: *sweatdrops, then moves to help her out* Quick question, Circe. What do you think I should do: slim down the menus, or open a fitness center?

That depends. When you say "slim down", do you mean removing items from the menu, or making the same number of items fit on fewer pages? *Circe casually walks toward the table, leaving Callista and the waitress to do the heavy lifting.*

Callista: Whichever. Both, if need be! ... *sets the menus down; frowns when she notices that Circe has beaten her to the table* ...Oh, and before I forget, you're in rare form today.

[Ookalf]

Is that a good thing or a bad thing?

Callista: *rolls her eyes* Didn't lift a finger to help us. *weak chuckle* If you were any more evil, you probably wouldn't have washed your hands before coming here.

*Waitress #73 shudders in revulsion.*

[Ookalf]

Oh, that. Well, you two had it under control, didn't you?

[AmbushCat]

Waitress #73: *ears droop* ... Mmmaybe we should just get down to business. Can I start you off with something to drink?

Callista: *sits down* I'll have a glass of klah, please.

Waitress #73: ...Klah?

Callista: Klah.

Waitress #73: ... *puts on a smile* Okay. Klah it is. *writes that down and turns to Circe* How about you, co-boss?

[Ookalf]

*Already seated, Circe looks to the waitress.* I'll just have a glass of water for now.

[AmbushCat]

Waitress #73: Alrighty. On the way~! *writes that down and hustles off*

*Meanwhile, another staffer takes her place at the entrance.*

Callista: *flips through the menu, then leans back and sighs* Ugh... empty-headedness.

[Ookalf]

*Circe looks to Callista questioningly.* Something wrong?

Callista: Tired from the heat, missing Blossom and Bliss-sis, take your pick. Mind feels like it's slowing down... could be that, too.

[Ookalf]

...All right, let's hit those in order. First, I could ask the waitress to turn up the AC for you. Second... I can't really do much about. You'd have to elaborate on the third.

Callista: *nods in response to the first one* It's like I'm feeling really drowsy upstairs. The summer days have been passing by in a blur... I don't feel much like thinking or doing much at all. I couldn't even do much shopping beyond the obligatory snack run. It's like I want to just collapse on the couch and stare at the ceiling, thinking nothing, feeling nothing.

*Circe nods.* Mm... Maybe it's an issue with the amount of sleep you're getting.
