Circe's Manor: Re-re-redux!

*Grace nods.* Oh... I don't really get it, but OK! Now, can I do anything else for you two?

[AmbushCat]

Callista: Yeah; there's something I'd like to try. Are there any Moonberries here at the Manor?

[Ookalf]

Um... Yeah, there might be. You want me to get you some?

[AmbushCat]

Callista: Just one, please. *smiles* And, so that you don't go across the Manor just for that, a glass of orange juice, too.

[Ookalf]

Okie-dokie! I'll be back with that in a bit! *And with that, Grace leaves the room...*

*While Grace is out, Calli looks around and decides to adjust the illumination some. Focusing her mind, she switches off all but two of the lights on the ceilings and walls (not counting the red 'Exit' signs) while leaving on any lights in the pool itself. The resulting shadows that are cast on the walls, caused by the light shining through the water, are beautiful to see.*

Callista: *quietly* Wondrous.

[Ookalf]

*After the lights go out, Callista hears someone cry out in surprise... Or was that just her imagination?*

[AmbushCat]

Callista: *jumps, startled* ...! Okay, maybe not. *calls out* Hello? Is someone there?

[Ookalf]

*A few seconds later, Callista gets a reply. It seems to come from under the water...* Hello? Is someone up there?

[AmbushCat]

Callista: *looks around again before checking the water* Yeah. Whoever that is in there, are you alright?

[Ookalf]

*Callista sees the silhouette of a woman swimming around in the pool! Curiously, she seems to be able to talk just fine while underwater.* Yeah, I'm fine. Just wondering what happened to all the lights.

[AmbushCat]

Callista: *sits down at the edge of the pool* Sorry about that. I didn't know anyone else was in here, so, uh... *scratches the back of her head* I turned them off.

[Ookalf]

Ah, so that's what happened... Well, it's no big deal. *The person in the water comes up to the surface, revealing herself to be a sort of green-scaled fish woman, clad in a blue one-piece swimsuit.* I mean, it's not like I got hurt or anything.

[AmbushCat]

Callista: I've been here too long if I've become used to meeting these sorts of people... *out loud* Well, that's a relief, I guess. I thought for a moment that I'd made someone slip after the lights went out, or something.

[Ookalf]

No, no, I was down there anyway! You see, part of my job is checking the bottom of the pool for dropped items... *As she talks, the fish woman seems to realize something.* ...Say, who are you, anyway? I don't think I've seen you around here before...
