Circe's Manor: Re-re-redux!

Callista: Call me Calli. Circe's a friend of mine. Whenever we're not irritated at each other, that is.

[Ookalf]

Nice to meet you, Calli. My name's Madison. *Madison nods and looks around.* So, you gonna come in?

[AmbushCat]

Callista: Sure, in just a minute. Someone's on their way with a Moonberry, I think. There's something I want to try.

[Ookalf]

Sure, sure. If you need me, you know where to find me! *Madison dives back under the water.*

[AmbushCat]

*Callista nods and sits down near the wall, watching the shadows on the walls with a smile.*

*At some point Kaoru re-enters the room, Fairy Leviathan costume equipped. She doesn't speak to Calli, wanting to sulk instead, and dives into the pool.*

[Ookalf]

*Down in the water, Marina waves to Kaoru!*

*Meanwhile, up above, Grace returns with Callista's stuff!* Yoo-hoo~! ...Oh, wow. When'd it get so dark?

[AmbushCat]

((OOC: Madison?))

*FL-Kaoru waves back as she descends to the bottom of the pool, accidentally catching a plastic ring on the tip of her boot as she lands. Shrugging, she picks up the ring, swims through the water to Madison and hands it to her.*

Callista: *apologetically* Eh-heh... sorry. Just felt like watching the darkness on the walls. *gestures at the shadows on the walls, cast there by the pool's illumination*

[Ookalf]

Oh yeah! I'd been looking for that one. *Madison takes the ring.* So, are you with Calli up there?

*Grace nods.* Oh, sure... For a second there, I thought the sun went down without me. ...Anyway, I got your stuff! *She hands a glass of orange juice and a Moonberry to Callista.*

(FL-Kaoru)
Yeah. Madison, right? I'm Kaoru Matsubara. *frowns* I don't feel up to talking to her right now, so... is it alright if I hung out a bit over here instead?

Callista: Thanks much. I appreciate it. *accepts both items*

*Strangely, Calli doesn't eat the Moonberry right away. Instead, she presses it to her forehead for about ten seconds, her eyes closed. Seemingly satisfied, only then does she opt to eat the Moonberry with a bit of orange juice to wash it down.*

*A bright glow surrounds her as the changes to her appearance kick in, then dies down shortly thereafter. For the readers' benefit, she appears to have transformed into a fusion between Tenshi Hinanawi and the Light Copycat: the body shape, swimsuit and other accessories from the former, and the meticulously-groomed fur and white ears, collar, and tail tip of the latter.*

Go ahead! The pool's plenty big enough for two.

*Grace stares at Callista in awe.* Whoa... How'd you do that?

*slight smile* Great; arigatou. So, you need any help finding everything?

*The voice that answers her is similar to Calli's, but much lighter and more peaceful in tone.*

LC-Callista: All of my power is in my mind, miss. I transferred everything that was good about myself into the Moonberry before I ate it.

[Ookalf]

Yeah, actually. I heard one of the girls say they dropped a pen down here earlier, but I haven't been able to find it... Think you could help me look?

...A pen? Sure, I'll keep my eyes open. I assume you already checked this part of the pool, so I'll start from the other end and work towards you.

LC-Callista: In a manner of speaking. *hand to her mouth* Oh, my... that sounds a bit freaky, doesn't it?

[Ookalf]

Yeah. She said it's kind of a blue-green, so you might have to look real carefully for it. Thanks again! *Madison swims off toward one end of the pool.*

Yeah... Just a teensy bit.

*FL-Kaoru does the same, eyes on the pool's floor. She kicks off the wall and slowly glides forward, using her helmet's jets to propel herself along. As she goes she turns her head from one side to the other, little yellow lines occasionally visible behind her pupils as she scans the area.*

*murmurs to herself* Alright, pen, where are you...
