Circe's Manor: Re-re-redux!

Well, we came here to relax, so I'll just stick around. *grins and salutes Madison* If you don't get back in time, then have a good evening, okay?

Hah, you too. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go change into something dry... *Madison waves to Kaoru and goes into the changing room.*

*After she leaves, FL-Kaoru walks to the end of the pool that's farthest from Calli. Locating the diving board, she climbs atop it and starts jumping on it repeatedly. With each jump, she gets just a liiitttle bit closer to the ceiling. Finally, with one strong bounce, she's able to reach it; the tips of her fingers brush against the ceiling for a split-second before gravity makes her plunge into the pool, splashing water everywhere.*

((OOC: This is a true-to-life stunt re-enacted by a fictional character. Do not try this at home, kids!))

*Anyway, FL-Kaoru passes the time doing odd stuff such as that. LC-Callista, who is nowhere near as energetic, leaves the pen where Madison can find it and lingers near the edge of the pool, trying to practice staying afloat. Every now and then her gaze lingers on the flickering shadows, expression blissful.*

[Ookalf]

*After a short while, Madison emerges from the changing room in her maid outfit and retrieves the pen.* Well, I'm heading out now. You two need anything before I go?

*calls out while doing another series of jumps* I'm good, thanks!

LC-Callista: I believe all my needs are accounted for, as well. *takes a few moments to straighten herself in the water and hands over the now-empty juice glass* All I ask is that you convey to Circe my wish that she have a pleasant and peaceful evening. I'll call for Grace when I'm ready to leave the pool.

[Ookalf]

*Madison takes the glass and bows.* I'll pass the word along. See you two later! *With that, she leaves the room.*

--Unofficial Log of Light Copy-Callista and Fairy Leviathan-Kaoru's Stay At The Pool--

1] -- After Madison's departure, Kaoru continued her pointless diving board stunt. Meanwhile, on a whim, Callista tracked down a boogie board and tried to paddle the width of the pool, failing miserably and prompting Kaoru to jump in and rescue her before she could sink.

2] -- Finally tiring of watching the shadows, Callista turned some of the lights back on. Learning from her mistake, she remained sitting at the pool's edge and made no further attempts to jump in. Kaoru gave her Frost Javelin a workout, swinging it about and creating an intricate ice slide on the pool's surface, afterword skating along it and humming Maurice Ravel's "Bolero" all the while.

3] After breaking up and dispersing the ice slide, Kaoru had a discussion with Callista for a while on the implications of the latter transferring her good qualities into a moonberry. After some time, both reached an agreement that the reverse should not be tried with an uncarrot. Kaoru also got an apology out of Calli for the impromptu dunking she got.

4] Finally, while Kaoru tests a few ideas involving her ice-based abilities...

LC-Callista: *having just finished drying off; calls out* Grace? Excuse me, Grace?

[Ookalf]

*A short time later, Grace comes in!* Yoo-hoo~! You called?

LC-Callista: I've had my fun, so I'm ready to head for my room. ... *blinks when she realizes something, blushing in embarrassment* And already I have a question. The room has a closet, doesn't it?

[Ookalf]

*Madison nods.* Oh, yeah, a nice big one! You should have plenty of room for, uh... whatever you have to put in there.

[AmbushCat]

LC-Callista: *a bit shame-faced* Actually, the problem I have is the opposite. It seems that when I transformed, I forgot that none of the clothes I brought along would fit me anymore. I was hoping that there were a few extras in the closet I could borrow.

[Ookalf]

Oh, is that it? Well, you don't need to worry. We have plenty of spare outfits you can use! *Grace grins.* Any more questions?

[AmbushCat]

LC-Callista: ... *bows a little, smiling gratefully* Miss Grace, thank you and the rest of the staff.

[Ookalf]

Hey, don't sweat it! Now, let's get you to your room! *Grace takes Callista by the hand and leads her out of the pool room.*

*The neo-Celestial stumbles a bit, but recovers and accepts Grace's assistance.*

LC-Callista: Ah... alright... *keeps pace with her*
