*Drew and FL-Kaoru aren't far behind. The latter is muttering to herself in Japanese the whole time, while Drew directs a confused look her way. Abby, meantime, reluctantly gets up and circles around. Joni hasn't gotten there yet either, just making sure she doesn't slip again.*

[Ookalf]

*Madison takes a straw as well, leaving just three left.*

*Joni gets there ahead of Abby and claims her straw. Abby takes hers next, looks at it for a moment, then picks her teeth with it.*

(FL-Kaoru)
*turns to Abby; speaks in Japanese* Otoko ka onna ka hakkiri shinasai, baka.

Abby: ...My shins are fine, thank you.

*Kaoru turns back to Nozomi and winks, while Drew gives her a confused look but declines to comment.*

*Nozomi shrugs.* Now, we may we see which straw everyone has. *A quick survey reveals that Nozomi, Madison, Delilah, and Penny have all drawn shorts straws, while Kaoru, Drew, Joni, and Abby have the long ones.* There, the teams are decided. We can begin, yes?

Drew: Whatever she said, I wholeheartedly agree.

She said that the broccoli from dinner was delicious.

Drew: *bitingly* As if! That stuff tastes worse than my mother's vegetable lasagna!

*chuckling* Just kidding, just kidding. She said the teams are decided, and we can get this game a'going. *grabs a nearby volleyball*

Drew: *fumes* ...Really starting to hate you.

*Nozomi smirks as her team climbs into the pool.* Although, I actually did enjoy the broccoli.

...That girl seriously needs subtitles or something.

*as the rest of her team enters the pool* I think I'm going to enjoy this visit. Hmm... Melody, care to start us off? *tosses the ball at her before diving in*

It's Madison... *The fish girl shakes her head and, once everyone's in position, serves!*

*The ball bounces off Joni's head, making her flinch. Drew all but tackles her trying to hit the ball back over before it lands in the water, but hit it she does.*

*to Madison* Spy the running gag in this room, and get a free blindfold.

*Madison sighs. Meanwhile, Penny and Delilah both try to catch the ball, only to crash into each other and let it fall into the water.*

This is not a good start...

*smirks playfully* ---That's only one girl's opinion.--- *normally* Alright. One-zip, our lead. First to five wins. Abby, you wanna serve first?

Abby: *shrugs* S'pose. Give it here.

Yeah, I'll get it. *Penny grabs the ball and passes it to Abby.*

Abby: Thanks.

*Abby catches the ball, swims back a few feet, then immediately punches the ball in a high arc. The ball almost grazes the ceiling, then drops towards the water as it crosses over the net*

Drew: ...Whoa.

[Ookalf]

*Nozomi is the first to react, quickly leaping up to meet the ball and striking it right back to the other side.*

Amazing...

*Joni repays Drew when she shifts to the right, almost elbowing her in the face when she swats at the ball. Said ball flies to the left, its trajectory heading for the pool's edge on the other team's side. Will they take a chance on it going out of bounds?*
