Anthem City: Fall of the Possum

[Harri-chan]

Georgia didn't seem too thrilled. Her gaze roamed over the girls, and how excited they seemed by the make-up, and with a sigh, she puckered up her lips and leaned a little closer to Dana. Her cheeks suddenly went red, and she squeezed her eyes shut tightly.

[Blaze]

Georgia can feel the slick brush run over her lips, a little clumsily.

"Okay, smack your lips a little, that'll even it up..." Dana says

[Harri-chan]

Georgia did as she was told, rubbing her lips together awkwardly.

"I just don't understand why everyone is so eager to grow up… being a grown up is nowhere near as fun as you might think. It kind of sucks", she mumbled, opening her eyes again.

[Blaze]

Dana blinks and tilts her head, confused.

"How would you know?"

[Harri-chan]

Georgia seemed a little startled, her eyes darting up at Dana's question. She stared at the teenager for a moment in a panic, and then shook her head.

"You just see stressed out grown ups all the time... ", she murmured nervously, and then cringed a little as she thought back to Eliza's Mom pointing out she looked familiar.

[Blaze]

Dana continues to swiftly work on Georgia's face, musing over her friend's words.

"Mmm... I guess. My mum is usually super stressed, especially when superheros interfere. Apparently it makes paperwork a pain."

[Harri-chan]

Georgia felt her chest tighten. Would the entire city thank the Alchemist for doing them a favour if they found out what had happened. She kept her eyes lowered, her fingers digging into the carpet as Dana worked.

"They're trying to help you know...".

[Blaze]

"Oh yeah, I know. My mom will admit that, begrudgingly, about the ones with actual powers. She says that the government should only allow the ones who can do things the cops can't to keep working, and that the others should be treated as vigilantes and dealt with." Dana explains as she finishes.

"There! Not bad I must say."

[Harri-chan]

"Thanks, Dana", she murmured, unable to conjure up much enthusiasm in her voice. The diaper crinkled as she shifted about on her knees and glanced at the other girls.

"Maybe I'll head to bed after all".

[Blaze]

"Ahh, okay. Might wanna wash it all off before going to bed, okay?" Dana says sympathetically.

"Night Georgia!" the other girls all say, waving to Georgia, all looking very pretty and mature already with their made-up faces.

[Harri-chan]

She leans forward, giving the girl a hug, that climbed to her feet. She blushed a little at the other girls as she got a couple more embraces before she went to the kitchen to clear the make-up from her face, forgetting that Alicia was probably still lurking in there.

[Blaze]

Indeed, Alicia is still in there, pouring herself a glass of juice.

"... wow, going overboard in there huh?"

[Harri-chan]

Georgia turned the water on and was grabbing a cloth when the older girl spoke and startled her. She turned slightly, giving Alicia an uneasy look.

"They have their make up out...", she explained before holding the cloth beneath the warm water, and then brought it to her face to wipe away the make up.

[Blaze]

Alicia walks over and takes the cloth, washing at some places that Georgia has missed.

"So I hear. Honestly, too young for that stuff..."

[Harri-chan]

Georgia looked a little surprised when the older girl started wiping the make-up from her face. She wanted to study Alicia's expression, but couldn't bring herself to look directly at her for more than a moment.

"I know... I tried to tell them, but they're all so excited by it...", she murmured in reply.

"Did you get your studying done?", she asked, although her voice came out far more nervously than she'd expected.
