*At ringside a felinoid clears his throat meaningfully, then gives a brass bell a sharp rap, signalling the match's start.*

*Provided nothing else interrupts, Ookalf makes the first move by rushing forward and throwing a punch right in Zapana's face.*

*Seeing the punch coming, Zapana tilts her head just enough to let it brush past her fur. Cautiously attempting to keep her distance, she backpedals towards the ring ropes.*

*Bit of a side note is that the rope that snapped before the match has already been replaced.*

*After Zapana dodges her first strike, Ookalf whirls around and tries to hit her with a spinning kick.*

*Zapana reaches out to try and grab Ookalf's foot when it gets close enough.*

Like Queen Stratosphere* hasn't tried to catch me with that combo every other fight!

*Zapana succeeds in grabbing Ookalf's foot.* Queen Stratosphere? That'd be a pretty good wrestler name, y'know!

Yeah. Cool name, huh? Taught me a few sweet moves, too, but this ain't one of them!

*As she finishes speaking, Zapana exerts her strength and throws Ookalf towards the ropes at the ring's opposite end.*

Whoa! *Ookalf grabs onto the ropes as she's sent into them, and uses them to launch herself back at Zapana.*

*charges forward to meet her, left arm poised to deliver a lariat* Thanks for the setup!

*Unfortunately for Ookalf, her moment ends up carrying her right into Zapana's strike.* Oof!

*With the initial strike having made contact, Zapana slams Ookalf into the ring floor; onlookers will note that she's holding back the vast majority of her strength, though. She then backpedals towards the ring posts, hoping to get airborne before her opponent can recover.*

Agh... *Ookalf takes a second to recover from slammed into the ground, then starts to get back up.* I'm not done yet...

*Ookalf may notice a growing shadow beneath her, and hear a battle cry from above. That should be a pretty clear indication of what Zapana intends to do next.*

Hah... *Ookalf spots this and rolls out of the way.*

*Good timing, as Zapana slams into the mat just a second later, her elbow drop missing its mark. She isn't going to remain stunned by the impact for long, though...*
