Starlight Casino

Vasily keeps up the pace, despite the bounce. She doesn't have to be happy about it though, and she grimaces as she runs. Perhaps she could lose her supervisor in the maze of niceties here. She keeps going, looking to either side for any signs of an exit she can find. There had to be some way in from the casino, and that would have to be her way out.

[Knight Errant]

She doesn't seem to hear the woman pursuing her... hrm... her feet pad against the warm stones as she runs... looking around... Mud bath... Salon station... massage booth... pool... no, no, no... As she frantically runs, she could have sworn she passed that same changing station before... as she hears a faint rustle in the palm leaves behind her.

Connor pauses, just looking at the woman in confusion. He was pointing a freakin laser at her and she said 'Oh heya'.'?

"I'm pointing a ****ing laser rifle at you and all you can say is heya?" The only conclusion was that she was brainwashed, it was the only explanation. "Get on the ground, or I will shoot you."

[Knight Errant]

Her smile doesn't falter... it stays in place... happy and vacant... She giggles. "Would you like a free drink...?" She asks.

His finger is on the trigger, he could pull it, it would have been so easy... Damn it...

Connor sighs and lowers his weapon, pointing it at the floor. "Sure...I'll take a free drink." The woman is clearly under some sort of delusion, probably by the same thing that got to his fellow squad mates. Shooting her would accomplish nothing. He figured if he played along for the moment he could slip past her and continue on his way.

She beams happily... mincing over to him... Despite being an airhead... she moves very gracefully and fluidly... it throws him a bit off... Watching her hips sway... breasts bounce... its all so strangely captivating. And suddenly she is next to him... handing him a fruity drink. "Here you go, cutie. On the house!"

[Abillioncats]

Connor takes the fruity drink, still holding his rifle in the other. "Thank you..." Connor watches the woman with a bit of confusion, unable to take his eyes off her. He shakes his head, now isn't the time to get distracted...he still has a mission to complete after all. He raises the drink to his lips and makes it appear as if he's taken a sip, without in fact actually drinking so much as a drop. It might have been a little paranoid, but Connor wasn't going to risk being poisoned or drugged that was for sure.

Now it was time to get out of here. "Thank you for the drink, but now I really must be going..." Even if part of him wanted to stay and look at her. He knew something was off, he needed to get away from this woman as quickly as he could.

She giggles again. "Enjoy the casino!" She replies, as she turns and... walks off... hrm. Connor brings the small coconut up to his face... he can sniff the fruity aroma... so close to his face. Not a drop would pass his lips, though he might find himself licking them... It smells so yummy...

[Ookalf]

She sighs and nods. "Right..." She waves him in, as he goes past the doors into the elevator! He could take it down to the basement, then switch to a utility elevator to go even deeper...

That's about the plan. Alex enters the elevator and rides it down to the basement to see what he can see.

There was something really wrong with this place, even as the woman walked off, Connor was getting all sorts of horrible vibes. He licked his lips, enjoying the flavor on them...until he realised what he was doing. He quickly dropped the drink, shaking his head. "Gotta get out of here..." He started to move it towards the tower, trading stealth for a bit more speed, he didn't want to be here any longer than necessary.

That's about the plan. Alex enters the elevator and rides it down to the basement to see what he can see.

The elevator goes down... down... and down... finally, the doors slide open... revealing a twisting corridor filled with strangely organic pipes, sparking electrical panels... screens in the walls showing static or garbled images. Hoses growing out of the terminals and into the walls... or out of the walls and into terminals... its hard to tell. Less than half of the lights are working, steeping the floor in half shadows.

There was something really wrong with this place, even as the woman walked off, Connor was getting all sorts of horrible vibes. It really is tasty... sweet, fragrant... a mix of fruits and an almost floral fragrance. He can't help but feel regret as he drops the drink... such a waste... Though perhaps he could get another...? There are plenty of bars as he rushes through the central casino... and a few are even... staffed. More buxom beauties leaning behind the counters... or girls in bunny outfits flouncing around, looking for customers to serve...

Connor keeps running towards the tower, but he can't help but glance at the bars as he passes them. He feels more than a little sad that he'd wasted that drink...perhaps he was being too paranoid? It couldn't hurt to have a one drink after all...

Despite himself he actually stops at one of the bars, looking at one of ladies running the bar he clears his throat. "I uh...dropped my drink a few paces down that way...could I possibly have another?" He couldn't believe he was actually doing this, it went completely against protocol. But he was really thirsty...and the drink did taste pretty good...

The woman smiles... "Ooooh? Sure thing..." Her nimble fingers work quickly... as soon a drink rests on the counter. "Sit down and enjoy... you wouldn't want to drop it again, would you?" She winks.

"Right..." Connor sits down hesitantly, but soon his cautious nature is forgotten as he takes the drink in hand and takes a nice long sip.

Ooooh... wow... thats good. Its sweet, creamy, coconutty and smooth. Not to mention hints of pineapple. The woman smiles, leaning against the bar. "So what brings you here...?" She seems friendly enough...
