A Dream House?

"That's a terrible stereotype, not all cats hate water. Not saying I want to go for a swim but it doesn't bother me really."

Raly nods in acknowledgement, and then quietly looks around for a second. "I wonder...how Anne's meeting with that robot went. Feel like...someone should check on that other guest of hers, too, since she just sorta wandered off...hm..."

Can't really say I'm keen on going back there... how do you want to handle this, then?

The anubis-girl puts on a thoughtful look. "Hmn...nawh, not much. Like, I think I said some things, got maaybe angry enough for a small dream magic overflow." She headtilts slightly. "I definitely didn't give you a new accent, not that I hate it?"


"I'm curious though," says the elemental. "When you made that wish, did you intentionally wind up wearing a swimsuit?"


The witch girl thinks for a moment. "Well, catnip doesn't affect me...so I should probably look for that girl. Maybe you can find Anne? The hallway doors...really as long as you're sure they're leading you where you wanna go, and won't open into a room with catnip in it...you should be fine, I think. It's a confidence thing."

"It was more of an accidental-panicky wish...so no not really." The catgirl blushes at being reminded of how little clothing she had.

"If your wishes are strong enough to change your form, couldn't you also just wish for different clothes to appear?"


Anne says, "Well I don't see why. Like, you're pretty much covered from neck to toe."

"Oh yeah....I guess I could wish for a more practical outfit...though I suppose I'm wearing the right outfit for a pool aren't I?"

((OOC: Sorry. Between yesterday's temperatures here in town and four hours of sleep, I didn't feel like spending a lot of time thinking of stuff to post. Looked at maybe one thread, and that was it. ))

So I'm essentially treating this place like I would my own home, then. Gotcha. Sounds like a plan.

*Amber turns and leaves the room. Shutting out everything from her mind except her final destination and desire to locate Anne, she walks calmly down the hall to who-knows-where.*

Anne says, "Well, I mean like, you just started the job five minutes ago after walking in and applying. I dunno where you were before that, but I guess it would be different."

Before going too far down the hallway, Amber catches Anne's voice saying, well, the above, from a nearby door. Opening the door will lead to a view of the laundry room with an unfamiliar android maid partway through doing the laundry, and the anubis-girl in question.

After that, Nate hears the door she came into the pool through open and shut as Raly floats on through, looking around, particularly at the elemental for a moment. "Hmm...somehow I expected more...chaotic results..."


"Like, I dunno what to tell ya," says Anne. "That's pretty much what I experienced. You, like, haven't said anything about what or how you wanna be paid, though?"
