Circe's Shop of Magical Wonders

[Abillioncats]

Catherine looks too, but is considerably more nervous.

[AmbushCat]

*Inside the duffel bag is... Callista, sleeping in a bed of recent purchases, at least a few of them from this very shop. She looks content and comfortable.*

[Ookalf]

Oh dear... *Delilah looks back to Catherine.* You remember that one girl we warned you about? The who always buys everything in sight? This is her...

[Abillioncats]

"Oh really?" Catherine got a good look at the sleeping Callista. "She doesn't look all that scary..."

[Ookalf]

Yeah, but right now she's sleeping. You haven't seen her when she really gets going, and starts barreling through everyone around her...

[AmbushCat]

*Callista sleepily murmurs something that sounds like "rrrrrrampage", but doesn't wake up. The way she says it, it sounds more cute than dangerous... at least to those who don't know her.*

"I'll take your word for it..."

[Ookalf]

*Delilah shudders at Callista's murmurs.* Trust me, you don't want to see it... I guess the question now is, what do we do with her? I'm kind of afraid to wake her up...

A wizard walks into the store. It's easy to tell he's a wizard because even though he's wearing ordinary street clothes, he is wearing a big conical blue hat with little yellow stars all over it. Also there's a rat on his shoulder which he appears to be carrying on a conversation with on his way to the counter. "Are you sure that's what the recipe calls for?" The rat squeaks something back. "Okay, well...if this shop doesn't have it we're just gonna to have to make a substitution of some sort." By this point, the pair have reached the counter.

"We could tie her up?"

Mm... *Delilah actually pauses to consider this.* ...OK, sure. At least until we know she won't go crazy on us. Now, I think there's some self-tying rope in the next aisle over. One of us could go grab it while the other one stays to keep an eye on her.

[Abillioncats]

"Alright...I'll watch her. You should get the rope you know your way around here better than me."

[AmbushCat]

*Callista remains asleep through the discussion. She seems genuinely out of it.*

He sees Circe only after she starts talking, and gets a look of recognition. "Oh, Miss Circe herself! Pleased to meet you, I'm Lyre. He's Jyrras." (Indicating the rat). "Err, I came in looking for a very strange ingredient required for an alchemy recipe."

[Ookalf]

"Alright...I'll watch her. You should get the rope you know your way around here better than me."

*Delilah nods.* All right! I'll be back in just a minute! *And she runs off, leaving Catherine alone with Callista for the moment.*
