*Risk pulls out a set of dice and gives them a toss, watching as they land: 3, 5, and 3 again. A set of geeky-looking glasses appear over her eyes, though they seem to have scanners of a sort built in. With them in place, she gives the monolith a closer look.*

Well, if you want an approximate density and hardness, consider for a moment how shale compares to a diamond. If you scaled up the gap between them and replaced "shale" with "adamantium", that's about how tough that metal is.

Also, from what I can tell... it appears to be highly resistant to Callista's type of reality warping, almost as if it was created specifically by someone god-tier or close to it. If she intends to go straight through it when she gets there, she's going to have to hit it with something much bigger.

"Cool, cool." Whatevr glances at the assault vehicle crash Nate's inside of nd makes some sort of gesture at it before continuing: "...I assume you find this entertaining, too, and don't just show up to answer people's questions at random."


Nate regains consciousness after the crash, not only alive but suddenly feeling perfectly able to shrug off the crushed machinery and wall and emerge relatively unarmed...but with some alterations. Seems like she's got her own heavy weaponry now.

*puts her glasses away* I have a vested interest in that girl. Anything that concerns her well-being concerns me. *pauses* ...Well, as far as her sanity is concerned, anyway.

Time staggers and stutters for a while, mostly near Nate. Whatevr crosses his arms. "I, or somebody, broke something."

Whatevr nods, and patiently awaits the results of attempting to destroy something made of monolith-material.

*Before too much longer, Callista finally reaches the Monolith wall and attempts to 'delete' it as she did the others... and is forcibly repelled, launching her back a good twenty feet. The wall is completely unphased.*

Ooof... what the... "You Do Not Have Permission To View Files In This Folder, Please Contact Your Administrator"?! *incensed* Forget that, I want my bargains! *grabs a communicator off her belt and punches several buttons in quick sequence*

Yeah, it's me. I need a Cosmetic Moonlight Blaster strike at these coordinates... *rattles off a string of numbers, letters, and symbols before pausing* ...Yeah, .003% power. I'm trying to destroy a super-tough wall, not blow up a city. *another pause* ...Just do it already, would ya? I've got the mother of all headaches over here! ... ...Yeah, that. ... ...Thanks, and make it quick.

*Callista doubles back to a prior barrier that she ripped apart and takes cover behind it. Somewhere over the Monolith wall, a dimensional portal begins to open...*

*to Whatevr* Need me to raise a shield? This can get pretty explosive.

"No need to worry about me." Whatevr produces a sticky note stack and pen from seemingly nowhere and scribbles on the note "immunity to whatever that is" before taking it off the stack and sticking it to his forehead, in the process releasing the rest of the stack and the pen back to wherever they came from. On the surface it looks silly and unlikely to work, but anyone able to see magic effects or the like in detail would catch sight of a very complicated spell originating from the note rapidly detecting the effects of what's about to fire out of the portal and reconstructing itself into an effect of temporary but complete immunity to any relevant damage types.

Alright. You've got that covered, then... I'll limit the collateral damage to the surrounding area.

*Risk removes a die-shaped earring and tosses it in the general direction of the Monolith wall. It poofs out of existence, and there are a few moments where it seems it was ineffectual, but observant on-lookers will see a faint bluish-tinge on almost everything in the area: the sole exceptions are the wall, Callista herself, and the two on-lookers.*

*Meanwhile, the portal has expanded to its full size. A complex-looking artificial satellite can be seen beyond the entrance, building up power for what's looking to be a tremendous energy strike.*

"Aww, collateral damage is fun though." Despite the complaint, Whatevr doesn't do anything to oppose Risk's action.

*The satellite's humming gets louder and brighter as the energy buildup nears completion.*

Heh... for you, maybe. If this ended up damaging part of the commercial district, she'd never stop getting on my case about it. ...Neither would anyone with Scarlet energy in them, for that matter. You have any idea just how screechy they get if they can't shop?

Hey Callista. *Raleigh steps through the wall next to her.* What are you doing hiding here?

*Callista doesn't seem to notice who's talking to her, just that someone is.*

Callista: Head hurts, waiting to shop down the street, super-tough wall's in my way, gonna blow it up with a superweapon!

[Raleigh]

I see. Your super weapon is taking a long time to charge, no? *A small spark of magic begins to gather in his left hand as he looks at the obstruction.*
