This was quite interesting, maybe having more options available in his collecting, he could change which item he uses depending on the situation. And the ummm.. 'side-effects' were temporary, so easy enough to deal with~. "I'd like to see a few more, thanks, if it isn't to much trouble", he says with a eager smile.

Becoming a narcoleptic, having my darker tendencies kick in whenever I get too angry, turning into a Chibi-Usa clone whenever I get splashed with cold water...I could have lived with stuff like that. Then I made the realization that no matter what I picked, some sort of unlikely death would kick in via status quo and render it all moot with my next regeneration.
*sighs sadly* Bugger. I was kind of looking forward to seeing if I could handle narcolepsy, too.

"I mean, we could change that, hun. The reset, I mean."

Special ranks, sentient plushes, orbital space stations, that badge is from when Amalia was in charge, so it was all a bit military."
The bracelet doesn't feel odd to the touch, no jolts or weird glints, but Entropy takes a quick step bcolor as he picks it up.
"Just remember, willpower."

Callista: I never could develop a taste for spicy foods beyond pepperoni, but that's another topic. Hmmm... *thinks a few moments* Give me a few seconds; I need to make some arrangements.

...Captain? It's me. I'll need a secondary Exodus State in approximately twelve minutes. ...That's right, the backup sequencer for Slot #95...
xGoggles wrote:"So.. wouldn't they go after you.. or anyone buying that, if they find out? That badge doesn't sound like they'd allow someone outside their organization to have...", getting targeted by a big bad organization might also be a bit of a risk, though maybe he could just buy it and sell it to someone else, later on, he thought.
Not really sure if he had that much willpower, given his cautious nature and lack of confidence, he offends would just avoid an issue than endure it. Not giving him many opportunities to really test out his willpower.
But this bracelet was about a person that would be hard to notice... So that would mean invisibility powers, right? Would a weak will just make them less invisible then or just transparent? She did also mention other powers, that he wouldn't notice? Would that maybe mean like hidden boost or something?
The more he thought about it, the more curious he became. Besides this was just a test drive, he didn't buy anything yet, if he didn't like it he could still put it back or give it to someone else, so there was no need to worry.
He puts the bracelet on halfway on his hand, if anything went wrong he'd just had to release it with his thumb and it could just slide off. He looks at his hand to see if anything changed already; if not he'll just slide on the bracelet a little further until it would be on his wrist.
Dichotomy steeples her fingers. And sits. And waits.

The Business's reward function is the maximization of profit, under a set of rules called The Constraints, which it follows religiioouus..." The voice slows down like a dying turntable, and then switches to a recording of HAL 9000 from 2001: A Space Odyssey: "Dave. My mind is going. I can feel it." Probably about this point the part responsible for making sounds gets broken, resulting in a brief burst of static.

Alrighty; I have a wish to make and a question to ask, but we'll take the former first. I wish that my incessant desire to shop, bargain hunt, and make people's lives miserable for the sake of commercialism was replaced by narcolepsy, in effect for the next 336 hours and restored to the status quo at the end of that period. I accept any and all liabilities that are placed on me as a direct result of this wish, including the inability to dodge if attacked by stray Brotherhood mooks and randomly falling asleep in the middle of lunch.
xGoggles wrote:She blinks for a bit, readjusting her glasses, giving the bracelet an other look. Even when it wasn't magical or anything it still looked rather pretty on her.
And it didn't look that expensive either, so hopefully affordable. She goes over to her school bag to grab her wallet; moving aside her notepad, some golden marbles for her collection, along with a few other things that were a bit in the way inside of the bag.
Opening her wallet to see how much she has left, "I think I'll take this one, it looks pretty cute.~ Umm, so how much was it again Miss Mundane..?" Oh, why was her teacher all way ever there, and just staring at her?
She turns around to look if interesting was maybe happening behind her. Nothing seemed off... so that meant her teacher was staring at her, or her bracelet?
Wasn't she wearing something different before and why was she holding a staff? Wait... that didn't make much sense; why would her teacher even sell her jewellery or joke about it being magical? This starting to raise even more questions.
"Miss Mundane, are you pranking me, acting like you can't see me now?... I can see myself in the mirror though, so obviously I'm not invisible or anything. Why are you all the way over there anyway?" she crosses her arms, if this was a joke, it was a very silly one.
