Lord Bones raises an eyebrow as Circe arrives.

"Shouldn't you be tormenting some munchkins over some ruby slippers or something?"

His maid, Lucy, goes to offer the witch a chair and a cup of tea.

Bahija: *looks at Bones* Tin man. *gestures to herself* Cowardly lion. *looks at Dact* Scarecrow. *looks at Circe* Wicked witch. We still need Dorothy and Toto---

*A pillar of green light forms, then fades next to the doghouse, revealing Viridi already in a sitting position. The Pekingese perks up, yips happily, and jumps into her lap.*

Bahija: There we go.

[Feng]

Bones snickers.

"You know how to peg them Miss."

He turns to Lucy. "And what are you? The witch of the North? Or a maid of a different color?"

Lucy does her best to be stoic....

Bahija: "Luxurious"? I've heard the rumors of that place. Aren't the hallways long enough to warrant the use of mopeds?

Well, yes... But who says having a large home is a bad thing?

Watch it, you... *Circe glares at Bones as she takes the tea and sits down.*

"Sleeping under the stars is lovely. And I'm referring to the fact that you are usually more reclusive than a mage in a tower. But I wasn't intending to insult you."

...Feh, whatever. I'm out here now, aren't I?

Bones snickers.

Bahija: *smiles proudly* Thank you, sir. I try.

"Or what, Miss? You'll make me into a beehive?" ^^

Lucy sighs.

"Anyways," says Bones "It would appear there are several parties interested in your Boss' latest acquisition, Miss Bahija. You might want to get some good security."

*The facility's remodeling continues, picking up steam. In the background, a pack of velociraptors---some completely organic, others cyborgs, and all of them with lasers on their heads---can be seen on patrol; they eventually pass by the group out front without giving them so much as a glance, suggesting that they're good at maintaining their focus.*

Bahija: *rolls her eyes* We have security. Whether it's "good" is up for debate, as we haven't been able to properly test them yet.

[Feng]

Bones raises an eyebrow at the raptors.

"Nonetheless.... If you are looking for good minions to supplement your...."

He stares at the giant feathery lizards.

"....current personnel.... then I would be happy to discuss the leasing of the Chibiwanbanshu. I'll even throw in a discount from the usual rate."

[Knight Errant]

"Huh... I suppose at some point I should test your security. Find out what your planning. Standard hero fare."

Bones raises an eyebrow at the raptors.

"Nonetheless.... If you are looking for good minions to supplement your...."

He stares at the giant feathery lizards.

"....current personnel.... then I would be happy to discuss the leasing of the Chibiwanbanshu. I'll even throw in a discount from the usual rate."

Bahija: Hmmm... *looks thoughtful* That could probably be arranged. *makes a note of it* You can talk to my boss about it after she arrives, but for now it seems reasonable.

"Huh... I suppose at some point I should test your security. Find out what your planning. Standard hero fare."

Bahija: Fair enough, sir. As a side note, a few of our defensive measures will revolve around transformations, as per standard in Muffinville. We just haven't decided on the methods thereof yet.

Bahija: I had the same reaction when I was first told about them. From what my boss tells me, they're holdovers from Himitsu's regime: "Ninja raptors with lasers on their heads". She thought they were cool, so she decided to keep them around.

*The construction gets closer to completion. The vast bulk of the workforce is working together to pull a gigantic block of glass---around five stories high and easily two and a half feet thick---upright across the front of the building, and doing a reasonably good job of it. A piece of the glass block has already been carved away, presumably to make room for a set of doors.*

Bahija: Good... I was worried that they'd fail miserably, but it looks like everyone's at least halfway competent when it comes to remodeling.

Bones observes, still sipping that tea of his.

"Right, right. I'm sure I'll survive. Probably. Hey, if you get me... that means your doing well." He shrugs.
