"Well, she shouldn't be that hard to avoid," says Whyte. "It's a big city, after all." She returns her attention to the phone briefly as whoever she was texting responds, and then looks back up. "How about I give you directions to the sparring gym my friend's at now? I got the impression Callista won't want to be near her."

Nate's ears drooped a little, she had to worry about avoiding this Callista person now?

"Okay...wait, who's her?"

"My friend's name is Velcy," says Whyte. "She's a little bit...Blue right now, a bit of a rough exterior, but a very nice person overall. Shouldn't have any problem getting you used to fighting in that form." Along with the transformation came something of a mental switch in Nate's mind...easy enough to flip it and go back and forth. So if the problem is looking like a Skitty she might just need to take human form sometimes to avoid this Callista's ire...but getting strong is another option! Pokemon are supposed to become super charged so they can fight their enemies*, right?

"Velcy huh...sounds nice enough. She's Blue eh?" Nate didn't seem too worried about it, though there was the chance she didn't understand what she meant by blue.

"I should figure out a new name for this form. 'Nate' doesn't really fit..."

Swift: "Natalie"? Or maybe "Fiona"?

"Natalie..." She said it slowly. "I like how it sounds."

"Good, good," says Whyte. "Lots of people decide to get 'stage names' even if the poke-berry treatment doesn't make their gender change. Anyway, Velcy's at.." She gives some simple directions, a couple of left turns and a right, and the building's description as well.

Natalie nods as she listens to Whyte's directions. "Alright, I guess I'll head over there then. Thanks!"

Whyte waves to Natalie as she heads out. Eventually, the Skitty-girl winds up outside of an office-looking building which is actually a PFL training facility (see first post for building description and latest post to continue this).

And the Eevee-girl turns her attention back to Swift once the third party leaves. "Phew...I really wanted that one out of our collective hair. And Velcy owes me anyway."

Swift: *sweatdrops* I imagine so. ...What were we talking about before all this happened?

"Um..something about moves, and then I asked how your mom was doing.." Whyte pauses, replaying some of the conversation in her head. "Did you...say something about some kids' godpapa being that Raleigh guy?"

Swift: Ah, right... yeah, Raleigh's the godfather for my boss's kids. *turns and heads back to the bench* He was on hand after they were born, and they took a liking to him almost immediately.

Whyte follows, twiddling the tip of one of own her ears a bit. "Just as a matter of perspective, I'm trying to imagine having Ark as some kind of family guardian...though from what I've heard, I get the impression Raleigh is more 'hands-on' than the boss."

Swift: *sweatdrops* Eeeyeah, that's putting it mildly. *sits down on the bench* From what little I've heard, Ark strikes me as the "calm and in control" sort of person. Raleigh... *shakes her head* When he gets mad, there's no running from him.

"I guess so. But maybe we just haven't seen Ark when he's mad." Whyte seems to have a brief internal debate on how close is appropriate, and eventually settles for a seat just outside of Swift's personal space, just in case. "Um...Talking about my curse earlier reminded me. I was thinking of having some..cosmetic magic done." She fidgets a bit, nervously.
