Brotherhood HQ: Grand Re-Opening

Bahija: I had the same reaction when I was first told about them. From what my boss tells me, they're holdovers from Himitsu's regime: "Ninja raptors with lasers on their heads". She thought they were cool, so she decided to keep them around.

Mm, fair enough. And what do you have going for you besides them?

"Wait... is Circe the new owner of this...?"

Bahija: *glances at Bones* ...You never run out of that, do you?

Bones smirks. "No. No I do not~!"

*Sips tea*

*clears her throat* But anyway, Miss Circe: to answer your earlier question, we also have all those plushies back there... *gestures at the workforce swarming over the complex* A shape-shifting android on heavy medication...

Distant voice: PILLS!

Bahija: Brass demons of assorted types, transformed and otherwise, who answer directly to me...

Distant voice: Where do you want your jersey, boss?

Bahija: *calls back* In the cabinet, next to the pencil holder! *clears her throat* Right... and finally, one or two other things that I'd just as soon keep a secret.

*A sign gets posted outside the building: "Open for business on September 27". Bahija's work force looks to be putting the finishing touches on the building, as well as placing a gigantic video screen over the front doors.*

Bahija: It's a bit embarrassing to think about, but apparently one of my boss's "items of interest" is the reason why I've been banned from the building's East Wing "for my own safety".

*With the installment of the video screen, the construction of the HQ is complete (with a picture forthcoming). Bahija looks around, tapping her foot impatiently next to the chair.*

Bahija: Where is she? She said she'd be here in time!

Voice: Right behind you.

*Bahija bleats in surprise and jumps out of her chair. Sure enough, Callista is standing there: full human form, wearing a royal blue three-piece suit and a wickedly cool pair of sunglasses.*

Callista: Sorry I'm late. There was a doughnut pileup on the way in.

THE RETURN

Just in time for the announcement of the Brotherhood HQ's grand reopening, a certain person appears who may, in fact, be unfamiliar to all of those present. But nonetheless, he appears.

It's a guy with an obnoxiously tall haircut, wearing Kamina-style shades over his eyes, riding a bike and dual-wielding air horns. He is, the king, of being a very slight nuisance sometimes, and apparently being flung several miles away from the park and losing a bike did not deter him from eventually returning to his favorite pastime: Riding up to, by, or through places while playing airhorns continuously.

High above in the Storm Crow, Lord Bones cackles diabolically (You honestly didn't expect him to camp outside the facility, did you? He's not some 40 year old neckbeard ya know!)

"Twiddly Dee! My scheme to offset the Brotherhood's plans through the power of common pastries has succeeded! Mwuahahahahahaha!"

His maid attache, Lily, just sighs.

*Viridi, in the midst of carrying away her dog from the HQ, jumps in surprise. Her dog whines and buries its head in her arms*

*incensed* Again with the air horns?! That man just doesn't know when to quit! ARISE, MY CHILDREN, AND RECYCLE THAT TRASH!

*What were previously thought to be oversized acorns hanging on the trees lining the HQ suddenly come to life, taking flight on wings of leaves and chasing after the obnoxious bike rider.*

Bahija: *sighs and facepalms* So, yes, that's happening right now.

*eye twitches* I get the feeling someone's deliberately exploiting my main weakness again.

Bahija: Should I dispatch an attack force to deal with the culprit?

I think our forces and his would just cancel each other out. Let's give him something else to deal with. *grins* He wants to fight me with dessert? Two can play at that game!

Bahija: *takes out a smartphone and taps the screen a few times* Surprise #1 it is.

*A port on the roof of the HQ opens up, and what seems to be a scaled-up gatling gun raises out of the opening. Taking aim at the Storm Crow, it releases a barrage of apple pies at the airborne threat.*

The obnoxious guy pedals harder, turning his air horns directly toward the approaching flying acorns and blowing them again! But what's this--the airhorns are a little stronger than normal ones, and actually blast enough air in the process of making their noise to mess with the flight of sufficiently small birds! Then again, there are a lot of acorns and they might be better at directed flight than small birds.

*The Nutskis are disoriented, most of them momentarily losing control of their flight abilities... though several of them manage to fire off fist-sized energy bullets at the guy's bike.*

He tries to juke and dodge around the bullets, but he's not a Touhou or anything and the bike's got a pretty big hitbox. Besides, it seems he has to wait for these airhorns to reload after the latest blast. This might be an opportunity...!
