Calling all "Heroes"!

*Ookalf is undeterred by the robot's dodging, and runs after it to try and attack its gun arm this time.*

The robot's sword arm, fully charged up with energy-laser-cutting-power by now, comes up to meet Ookalf's blade. It doesn't do much about the other attacks, though, leading to a scattering of bullet holes all over its chest area from the magnums and a bigger hole through the foot. Those holes make it pretty clear there isn't a person inside, just showing off more damaged circuitry. Enough holes like that will surely be enough to start breaking its functionality, not to mention the ones that are already there are probably a high risk for certain kinds of attack.

He grins as the robot quickly starts to look more and more like swiss cheese. His guns vanish and are quickly replaced with what appears to be a two-handed warhammer. With Ookalf keeping the robot occupied he has the opportunity to finish this quickly.

With the hammer head raised above him he charges forward and swings the hammer down upon the robot as he gets within striking distance.

As the man with the hammer comes close, the robot seems busy enough sword-clashing with Ookalf..but an observant eye will notice the chamber of its other arm's cannon glowing. Just as he's about to bring the hammer down, the robot's arm comes up, right in his face, and fires! Another explosive energy blast is shot from near point-blank range; some very good reflexes or a helping hand will be needed to not get hit by that.

*As it happens, the pony notices the cannon charging up. Running some calculations through her mind, she quickly adjusts her elephant gun's configuration, aims at a wall, and fires. A fist-sized, black energy bolt ricochets off the wall, then another; and with the sort of timing that could only have been orchestrated by something mechanical in nature, it strikes the robot's explosive blast as it leaves the barrel, driving it off course.*

Pony: Ett yer heart out, Robocop.

For reasons driven most likely by insanity and/or sheer stubbornness, the young man refuses to dodge and follows through with his attack. "DIE!" Lucky for him it seemed the pony had driven the blast off course and thus saved him anyway.

The explosive energy blast is directed well off-course, to a far corner of the room to blow up on. Meanwhile, the warhammer goes smashing through the robot's outer armor, hitting some more electronic and computing components with a satisfying crunch..until it hits something much more solid with a thunk. A bowling-ball-sized hunk of something that glows white is partially exposed by the damage; after all, something was powering the robot and its fancy energy-based weaponry. And..it seems like the hammer destroyed some of the containment for the power source, as it starts emitting a rather concerning number of sparks and making a vrrreeeeeee... sound, exactly like something that's about to explode a little bit.

Pony: *stows the elephant gun away* Move them feet, bipeds, it's gonna blow up! *turns and gallops away, creating a hole in the wall next to the door in its haste to exit*

"Ah sh-" He booked it as fast as he could through the hole the pony had created.

[Ookalf]

I hear you, little horse! *As soon as the power source is exposed, Ookalf reaches the obvious conclusion and immediately runs for the hole the pony created.*

BOOM

Well, there was an explosion and a flash from inside the post office, but it wasn't a positively huge one; the building is still standing, and even the doors seem alright still. After the explosion, things go quiet inside. If anyone looks, the area around where the robot was has some char marks and debris from the explosion, and various pieces of the robot scattered around; farther away things look relatively undisturbed, further evidence that the explosion was actually not as big as it sounded.

*The pony pokes her head through the hole she made cautiously.*

Pony: ...Huh. Ah was speckin' sumpin a bit mo'e splosivey. Wal, whutevah. Disengagin' Combat Mode. *eyes return to their normal color*

He spit on the ground, looking rather pissed. "What a coward, using robots to try and pick us off." He entered the post office, looking around. "Well, is that the best you got!? Cause I'm still snoozing over here!"

Pony: *indignant* Yeah! How dast he does thet... t'us... *seems to realize something* ...Wait a tic. Who are you?

As they re-enter the post office, they might eventually notice that there is something that seems to still be powered in the debris, a roughly hand-sized object glowing faintly from underneath a small chunk of the robot's torso.
