"Hmmm perhaps...that purpose of that device seems to be to point us in the right direction. Is this princess haven to the east?"

An' is this hyar haven primarily Indigo, by some chance?

*Ookalf nods.* Yeah, that's about what I was thinking. There's definitely something this way.

...Well, that might not be how I'd like to be remembered, but I guess it's not totally wrong either...

The postgirl nods to both questions asked. "Yeah, it's the Royal Haven. Big gated community of richer indigo folks who're tired of getting captured all the time. Pretty high security all around." she produces a smartphone from..well, somewhere anyway, and pokes around on it a bit. "I can show ya on a map if you want." When she turns it to face them, it's a slightly pulled-out map of the nearby Muffinville area: Youngton, where they are, is on the left side, and on the right, to the east, is Royal Haven.

*Ookalf nods.* I say we head there as soon as possible. And since I have the detector thing, I think I should go ahead and take point. Any objections? *He looks to both Applepills and Dan.*

"That's all I need to know..." Dan walked out of the post office, walking into the street. He then stretched out his hands and concentrated, before an armored vehicle began to materialize in front of him.

When he was done he turned back towards the others. "Who wants a ride?"

*Ookalf nods.* I say we head there as soon as possible. And since I have the detector thing, I think I should go ahead and take point. Any objections? *He looks to both Applepills and Dan.*

"That's all I need to know..." Dan walked out of the post office, walking into the street. He then stretched out his hands and concentrated, before an armored vehicle began to materialize in front of him.

When he was done he turned back towards the others. "Who wants a ride?"

*grins at seeing the vehicle* Biker guy, yo' take shotgun. I'll take bazooka! *clambers on top of the vehicle's roof*

Thanks, but I already have my own ride. Howler! *Putting the device in his pocket for the moment, Ookalf hops on his motorcycle and rides off in the direction of the Royal Haven.*

The drive isn't terribly long, and soon both vehicles find themselves in front of a gigantic, imposing pair of gates. There are all manner of weaponry mounted on the walls the gates are attached to, varying from tasers to miniguns to high-explosive ordinance, all apparently remotely operated; there are also a couple of cameras up there, which activate and turn to face the vehicles.

There is a small speaker-microphone thing for communication on the right side of the road just in front of the gate. Whoever pulls up to that side will hear someone's voice from inside. "Who are you, what's your business here." The bored tone of the woman's voice makes it sound more like a statement than a question at first.

*Applepills eyes the mounted ordinance hungrily for a few moments before turning towards the speaker, gesturing at the walls beyond.*

Thar's trouble in them thar hills!

Dan sighed, he was pretty sure no matter what they said, they wouldn't just let them in. "Basically a wannabe supervillain kidnapped someone and we have get in. It's pretty important."

[Ookalf]

*Ookalf chimes in after Dan.* Right, we think this place has something to do with that incident. *Now that everyone's parked, Ookalf takes the chance to pull out his tracker again and see if they've gotten any warmer.*

The voice on the other end of the speaker yawns loudly. "You didn't even answer my first question. Whatever..facial recognition can do the rest...
"Hmm...Applepills..known employee of the Brotherhood...but not involved in any known kidnapping..." Ookalf's tracker is pinging noticeably faster than before, especially if it's "pointed" in the direction of Royal Haven's gate.
"Ookalf...pretty rare to see in original form, but known hero as long as you're not secretly Circe...
"...I have no idea who you are, other guy. I guess you're talking about that thing that was on TV earlier? I thought the special effects stunk. But, I guess I can let you in as long as I come with to make sure you aren't bugging anyone." There are some audible beeps and boops on the other end of the speaker, and then the gates start to be automatically opened! The road continues for a bit before coming to a significantly shorter, thicker-looking pair of gates. There are security buildings on either side of this small portion of road.

Welp, that had been easier than expected. Dan figured they would have had to fight their way through, but if they were gonna just let them in he wasn't about to complain. "Not surprised you don't know me, I don't like to draw attention to myself if I can help it. They call me Dan Morningway if you must know."

When the voice insists on coming along Dan just shrugs. "That's fine with me, I just want to get this over with." He proceeded to drive his vehicle forward as the gate opened.

*happily swallows a few capsules of Beta Carotene* Much obliged. An' yeah, ah's wif th' Brotherhood. Boss is outta town, so ah have time off.

*Applepills gives the mounted weaponry a forlorn look as the vehicle drives past the gate, waving it good-bye.*
