Something Strange This Way Comes

[Kether]

The glow from the chest intensifies a bit. It appears to be radiating from something inside of it. Maybe if he reached inside?

*He shrugs and opens up the box and pokes around inside*

[AmbushCat]

See ya, Ookalf.

*Ambush waits a few moments more, than enters the final door*

[Amy-chan]

When Kether sticks his hand inside the chest, the glow flows into it and then starts spreading up his arm. Every place the glow spreads to starts tingling.



The door snaps shut behind Ambush.

Inside, this is what he sees.



Across the bridge, there is a small cottage.

[Kether]

He tries to shake it of wriggling around wildly

[Ookalf]

The door snaps shut behind him. From outside, it is seen to dissolve in a shower of silver sparks.

Inside the room, this is the main view that greets him.

There is one spot that isn't flowing lava. Instead, it has an object that is a study in contrasting elements. A cooling breeze blows from the object and it seems very inviting.

Wow, that's a lot of lava. Wouldn't wanna get too close to that... *Ookalf spots the fountain and goes to check it out.* I wonder if I'm even still in that building...

*Ambush makes his way to the cottage, softly humming Viridi's theme as he strolls along.*

[Amy-chan]

The glow spreads quickly up Kether's arm and starts spreading across his body. It is hard to tell, but it seems like the fingers of the hand where the glow started no longer look mechanical. They also look like they are smaller in some ways.




The area is quite nice. The fountain somehow has flames issuing from its middle. The water has an odor of lemons and strawberries. A drink of it would be nice even though it is cooler here than it is further away from the fountain.




The cottage's door stands open. Ambush can see a pleasant room through it.

He uses the other arm trying to shake it off possibly speeding up the spread

[Amy-chan]

The glow spreads to the other hand, and then quickly catches up with the other arm. Once they are equal, the joint glow still spreads at a faster rate than it first did.

The parts of Kether that are glowing continue to change. The sensation is not unpleasant, just strange.

He sighs and waits as there's not much to do now

[Ookalf]

Huh. I wonder how they keep the fire lit with all the water. Can't be easy... *Ookalf idly sticks a hand in the fountain as he looks around for anything else he can reach safely.*

A young man approaches the haunted house, his eyes wide with excitement, he pumps his fist in the air. "Alright! A free ride! Time to prove to everyone that I'm not afraid of anything!"

He dashes up to the ride's entrance, eager to get on as soon as he can! "Hello!? I'm not too late to get on the ride am I!?"

[AmbushCat]

The cottage's door stands open. Ambush can see a pleasant room through it.

*As happily as you please, Ambush enters the cottage and makes himself comfortable.*

Cozy. Wonder if Ellen would like it.

[Amy-chan]

I am sorry that I just dropped this.

I just drew a blank when I tried to come up with the next scenes. A sort of writer's block, I guess.
