Circe's Manor Raids Again

Oh? *Nozomi looks up from her bow.* So you couldn't understand me a moment ago, but can now? How mysterious... But it's not a bad thing, is it?

"No, I suppose it's not a bad thing." Robin said with a nod. "It's like my wish got granted or something. Weird."

Charis: *looks over the map, nodding when she's done* This... this'll be fine. Thanks for helping me get situated, Amanda.

Nooooooo problem! So, I'm gonna go grab that stuff you asked me about now, if that's OK. Later! *Unless Charis has something else to add, Amanda will leave to take care of those things.*

"Hmm, glad to see that birds are pretty normal around here. At least the sky isn't full with griffins, chimeras and rayquazas~", she says while still looking out the window.

*Charis smiles and waves, then parts ways with her and leaves the room to do some general exploration.*

That's not to say that... *pauses for a few moments, forcing herself to speak* ...they can't turn into those due to magic and stuff. Instinct may drive them to avoid Color fruits, for example, but they can still try to eat them if they're desperate enough for food. *taps her chin* There's this maid on our staff that used to be a mourning dove... can't remember her name, don't want to. We had this bad winter a few years back, and it somehow got into our greenhouses and tried to eat one of the fruits kept there. A few seconds later, there was a very confused and hungry harpy trying to understand everything that was happening.

"Ummmm...well..." Robin thought about it. "Do you have any idea why you're only able to speak Japanese? Seems kind of strange, since you can understand us."

Danaye nods while listening and replies, "Yeah, I have been warned that fruits here can have strange magical effects. Is that only with fruit or also with veggies or well any kind of plant? Are the greenhouses here full with magical and exotic plants?"

*Curiosity and her initial goal war with each other briefly. Curiosity wins out, and Charis decides to pull up a seat and watch.*

The 'uncarrot'. It focuses on stuff that's dark and evil and gives people those tendencies when eaten. ...There used to be this Gorgon-girl who worked here for a few years, Lorin someone-or-other, who was pretty good at keeping those urges in check, so it's not like being evil's a definite thing.
