Ah. I suppose I can see the appeal in that... So, is she fighting anyone I care about?

*ends the call and looks up at the ceiling, shaking her head* Amazing. Out of all the people on the list, she had to pick Eebon.

Really? Eebon? ...Huh. I wouldn't have thought she'd be one to go after.

Cynth: It's kind of hard to think of her like that in light of her being such a momma's girl, but Eebon is a decent fighter.

Yeah... *shakes her head* I met Eebon once, and she told me that Amber won't let her move into the Infinite Defense's main HQ until she's a legal adult. Girl can reduce I-beams to shrapnel no problem, so it bugs me knowing that.

I mean, I guess her being a decent fighter isn't that shocking, considering her family. As for the rest... *Circe shrugs.* Amber's protective of her kids. Not sure that's really news.

And it doesn't strike you as strange that she's still coddling them at that age? Four of them... *remembers Echo* ...or three of them, rather... they're in high school now. She has to let them start growing up sooner or later.

Hey now, I never said I agreed with her. I've just known her long enough that I'm just not at all surprised she feels that way.

This coming Friday, from 2p.m. to 7. Would've been sooner, but that school Aldonza's kits go to back home asked me to substitute-teach for a few days. *examines several dust rags on her uniform before shrugging and picking one* Had to do some last-minute wrangling of my schedule at the Manor to make it happen.

*as Dulcinea goes about finishing her shift* Wasn't too far off the mark... I was washing my hands when I started experiencing a migraine and just about fell over. It's the sort of feeling I only get when someone exhibiting a large amount of chaos energy warps into an area. *grimaces and palms her forehead* Stupid fusion.
