Somewhat Special Event: The Extras Talk Back!

Location: Atyet A. Nother Park, Muffinville Residential Area #15

*A table appears close to the sidewalk in a cloud of golden sparkles. A small pile of professional-looking pamphlets are already sitting on said table. There doesn't seem to be anyone nearby who could've put them there, so...?*

*As time goes on, assorted booths get set up. Muffinville residents, visitors, and Kittenoans alike from all walks of life enter the park, single out specific booths, and head that way to get set up. A disgruntled-looking Callous can be seen among those that arrive.*

*A sign materializes next to the aforementioned table, reading: "MEET THE CAST! Ask them anything and help them fill out the dossiers! More information in the pamphlets."

[Ookalf]

*Sassafras, one of Circe's maids, arrives at the park and takes a pamphlet, which she decides to read through before deciding who to visit.* Hmm...

*The pamphlet reads as follows:*

"Everyone in Muffinville and beyond has their own stories to tell. The problem therein is that either no one asks or cares, or that they simply do not make themselves part of the public eye. As such, their dossiers remain empty and lacking, and any data on them stays sparse.

"Let's fix that, shall we?

"Everyone in these booths have been invited to share their stories with anyone who is curious. ASK THEM ANYTHING, and they will do their best to fill you in. Any pertinent information shared will become a permanent part of their records. After all, Muffinville is about more than just the transformative types of Colors, is it not?

"Food and drinks will be provided. Both guests and Muffinville's residents are expected to be courteous, or at least as much as their personalities will allow. Please enjoy yourselves!"

*Accompanying the description is a map, showing each booth adjacent to the path that winds throughout the 16-acre park. Stands for food (mostly of the barbecued variety) and drinks have also been placed here and there. Below the map is a legend showing who is assigned to each booth.*

Huh. Don't really know a lot of these people... But, I guess that's kind of the point. *Sassafras considers the pamphlet a bit longer, then heads over to B-08 to see what Jennifer Berra has to say.*

*Several metal folding chairs with cushions on them are set up at each booth. Jennifer herself is seated on a stool within her assigned booth, chewing on something and clutching a plush llama. Next to her on a crate is a repurposed plastic ice cream tub filled to the brim with candy, ranging from M&Ms, Shock Tarts and Hershey's Kisses to Nerds, Skittles and Reese's Pieces.*

Jennifer: *sees Sassafras and waves* Hi there! Probably goes without saying, but you're my first visitor.

[Ookalf]

*Sassafras waves back as she approaches.* Hello! So, I'm not really totally sure how this works... Should I just start asking questions, or...?

Jennifer: How about if I give a basic rundown on who I am, and we can work from there? *grabs a handful of M&Ms and munches on them while waiting for a reply*

[Ookalf]

Yeah, that sounds great! *Sassafras nods.* So, who are you?

Jennifer: Well, if the legend wasn't an indicator, I'm Jennifer Berra. And... *winces* I was previously a member of the Cult of Acutus.

[Ookalf]

Uh-huh, uh-huh... *Sassafras nods, eagerly absorbing this information.* ...So, like, what was that cult about, again?

[AmbushCat]

((OOC: Whoa-ho-ho, has this past week been a thing or what?! ... Er... ahem, excuse me. Just some behind the scenes stuff keeping me occupied, ranging from the good [finally purchasing a Switch Lite] to the bad [attending a family friend's funeral via telephone]. I'm good now.))

Jennifer: Well, it revolved around this dragon whose life was centered on conquest and decadence. Acutus isn't her full name by any stretch, but it's easier to simplify it that way. *chews on some Nerds while she gets her thoughts organized* See, she'd intended to have representatives on worlds that she either already conquered or intended to fully take over at a later date, with the Muffin Continent being part of the latter. I was gifted early in life with the means to summon Acutus, whether it was to wage war against the world or to claim any potential targets and add them to her collection.

[Ookalf]

(Sounds like a busy week indeed... I'm glad things seem to have cleared up, at least.)

Uh-huh, uh-huh... *Sassafras takes a second to think about what she's just heard.* Umm... Don't this the wrong way but, your old boss kinda sounds like a bad guy.

((OOC: Thanks. The tricky part's going to be trying to beat "Let's Go Eevee" before my copy of Pokemon Sword arrives next week. ()^_^ ))

Jennifer: Well, you're not wrong. I want to be able to say that I was brainwashed into serving someone whose very existence is NSFW, but that's a lie even a child could detect. Really, she had my full support from the beginning; she had everything I liked, plain and simple. I knew there were higher powers for sure, but as far as mortals went I thought she was one of the strongest alive. *chews on some M&Ms* Of course, if I'm correct in thinking that you work for that Circe sorceress, then you probably know about who disabused me of that belief.
