Heh, yeah, I can feel that... Well, if that's all, I think I'm gonna be going. Later! *Sassafras bows to Risk and walks away.* Hmm, I should still have time for more. Goldie, maybe...? *She doublechecks the list as she walks along.* Hmm...

*The booth that Sassafras eventually arrives at is a bit larger than the others, though this is more to accommodate Goldie's height than anything. As opposed to a stool or folding chair, she's seated in the sort of chair that you'd typically find in the upper echelons of a big corporation... very out of place in light of the floor being the same dirt and grass as everyplace else in the park. One side of her counter has a platter of blueberry mini-muffins, while the other has a spherical glass orb that she periodically glances at.*

*Goldie is physically imposing, even disregarding the chaotic aura that Sassy's feline senses should allow her to detect. The flowing white dress she wears covers her from neck to toe, all the better to hide the armor that's worn beneath. At 7'6", she towers over everyone that Sassy has met thus far. Has blonde hair of an indeterminate length, held out of her equally golden eyes by a silver tiara.*

*looks up* Ah. Took someone long enough to work up enough bravery to visit me. *gestures at the folding chairs outside the booth* Sit down, child, sit down.

[Ookalf]

*Sassafras gulps as she approaches Goldie. It just had to be another intimidating one...* Uh, hello. Could you... tell me about you?

[AmbushCat]

*takes note of Sassafras' nervousness* That's no good... you look like you're about to bolt. Take a deep breath and calm yourself, child. I'm not going to hurt you.

[Ookalf]

R-Right, sure... *Sassafras closes her eyes and takes a breath.* Sorry. It's just... you have sort of an aura, you know? It's a... little bit scary...

Echoes of the Sea of Chaos, little kitten. I am it, and yet I'm not. *closes her eyes* A conundrum with a few different names... the Lord of Nightmares, or even just 'L'. To truly set myself apart from the original Lord of Nightmares in some reality far, far from this one... just 'Goldie' will suffice.

I... I see. So, you're a... 'L-Lord of Nightmares'? What does... that involve, Miss Goldie? *Somehow, hearing that title doesn't seem to have reassured her much...*

Not just 'a'. Closer to 'The'. My universe of origin? I created it. All of it. Just mentioning my name makes the mightiest monsters tremble, and for good reason: if I wanted to, I could extinguish them in the space of a moment.

But that would be boring, so I watch. Sometimes I step in when someone succeeds in calling on me. And very rarely, I put uppity mazoku in their places by trapping them in my domain and forcing them to watch bad fanfiction in the form of movies.

"That only happened once. He's currently on... what, year #18 out of 100?"

*sighs* Curtis, would it kill you not to get involved in this?

"I've been emotionally invested in that since 2004. Too late for complaints. "

*Goldie shakes her head, but doesn't protest further.*

Uh-huh... So that's all... somewhere else, right? Do you do any of that here?

Outside of my realm, no. With a few exceptions, I prefer to leave well enough alone.

"What she's not saying is that she took clones from other universes for the express purpose of keeping her prisoner in line. Circe's met them already, but it's been long enough that she's probably forgotten the meeting by now."

...Yes. But that aside, I do carry out favors for those I'd consider friends on a normal day. Provided they ask nicely, of course. The runes that keep the Mungojerrie a permanent safe zone are entirely my own doing.

Oh, you're responsible for that? Cool! Me and my sis spend a lot of time there... *Sassafras seems to be feeling a bit better after that. At least not everything Goldie does is scary...* Have you done anything else I might've heard of?

Have you ever heard rumors of a specific type of metal sheet hidden in some of the walls and ceilings at the Manor? They might have a very low chaos reading if scanned by someone with the proper equipment.

[Ookalf]

Mm, I that sounds a little familiar... Wait, you're putting stuff in the Manor's walls? Does Miss Circe know about this?

I should hope so, considering that it was her head maid that approved the purchase of those from me. Those sheets were created specifically to keep Ambush out of given areas, given that chaos energy is one of his few weaknesses. Fun is fun, but invasions of privacy aren't.

This was a relatively recent development, so if you hadn't heard of it yourself, I'm not surprised.

Oh, huh. Maybe I should ask about that when I get back... That does sound like something we'd want, though!
