Somewhat Special Event: The Extras Talk Back!

*Sassafras nods excitedly.* OK, so then what? Did breaking the mirror do something?

When the mirror broke, the clone started to break apart too. I thought that was the end of it and went to see about healing Aldonza, but the clone screamed and tried one last time to kill me with a sneak attack.

Now, I would like to point out that Aldonza was still conscious the entire time, just unable to move and flash-frozen. She could use her eyes, though, and the clone was directly in her line of sight. *shakes her head in mild amazement* That laser vision of hers melted clear through the ice over her face and struck the clone square on. As a result, she wasn't able to keep stable any longer and shattered into a thousand fragments before she could reach me.

[Ookalf]

Huh... So that was it, then? The clone was totally gone? What did you do after that? ...Also, Aldonza has laser eyes?

[AmbushCat]

Yeah. It was something she'd always had, as far as I know. Some sort of "childhood mutation", or what have you. *blinks* You have your own version of her here, right? Hasn't she ever used them?

Her tail twisted in front of her, formulating a tornado as it went, and she directed her laser vision into it.

((OOC: I'm leaving the possibility open that Sassafras wasn't one of those in attendance at that wedding. ))

[Ookalf]

(Ah, that works. Must have slipped my mind.)

Mm, maybe... *Sassafras closes her eyes and thinks back.* Come to think of it, I know she's a fighter, but I don't know if I've ever seen her fight personally. Maybe I'll ask Miss Circe about it some time... Ah, Miss Circe's my boss, by the way. She's actually pretty good friends with our Aldonza. I don't know if she knows a you, though...

*sighs* I've said it before, and I'll say it again: this multiverse stuff gives me a headache. I haven't seen anyone I know since I got here, but I'll be glad once I get to go home.

*nods* Either way, thanks for taking the time to listen. I do appreciate it.

[Ookalf]

*Sassafras nods.* Sure! So, I guess we're done, then. See you later! *She stepped away from the booth, then looked up at the sky and sighed.* Man, I've been at this a bit. I wonder if I should wrap this up at some point...

((OOC: Yeah, I think it's time this one gets wrapped up. Though I think we can squeeze one last conversation in on the way out. ))

*Drew, who was one of those available for talking, approaches her. She's carrying a plastic bag with several leftover snacks in it.*

Hiya, Sassy! I'm gonna catch the bus back to the Manor! Wanna join me?

[Ookalf]

(Sounds good.)

Oh, hey Drew! *Sassafras casually greets her fellow maid.* Yeah, I was just thinking about heading in for the day. May as well go back together!

*Outside the park is the bus she's referring to, painted mostly white but with several orange and blue stripes down the middle. Doris Sturm's helmet logo (seen below) is situated above and to the right of the back tires, indicating who had procured the bus for the Manor's use. The bus is large enough to accommodate about 48 or so people, not counting the driver---not surprisingly, Doris herself.*



*As Drew and Sassafras get on the bus, they see that Sabrina and Dulcinea are already seated. The former is closely examining a sudoku puzzle, deliberately ignoring Drew's presence; the latter is on her phone texting someone (probably Aldonza). It appears that Maid #46 is the only one the driver's waiting on.*

*takes a seat near the back, exhaling* Fun, but tiring day. How 'bout you, Sassy?

*Sasafrasbreathes a sigh of relief as she sits next to Drew.* Yeah, this was neat! Got to meet some people I probably wouldn't have usually, heard some interesting stories... What about you? You hear anything good?

Well, I got to talk with someone from Miss Metallium's old faction. I think it was her universe's equivalent to Supergirl...? Yeah, that was it. It was her first time in Muffinville and she was curious about what life here was like, so we swapped stories for a while. *frowns* Never saw anyone drink so much cappucino in my life.

Anyway, I told her about the first time I used a computer. *blushes* I don't think I ever mentioned that one to you, have I?

[Ookalf]

A Supergirl? Huh... And no, I don't think you did. *Sassafras shakes her head.* So what happened? Did you break it, or...?

Well, someone had set up a computer for my personal use. I tried to use it the same way I'd seen Jenny use it, but it wasn't working. The pointer on the screen wasn't moving or anything. So, in a fit of anger, I tried to figure out how to unhook the keyboard so I could smash the screen with it.

[Ookalf]

Huh... *Sassafras nods slowly.* So, first off, did you actually end up smashing it? Second, do you know what the actual problem was?
