Heh, no kidding... *Sassafras smiles and sits back in her seat.* Well, I hope you two have fun with that. Me, I'm probably gonna just take tomorrow off and spend some time with Gingersnap. Get some rest, catch up on things... Y'know, take it easy.

Doris: I'll make sure your respective schedules are cleared, you three! There's plenty who can pick up the slack!

What is? *Sassafras looks curiously at Drew. The event may be done, but it seems she's not quite out of asking mode yet.* Doris doing schedules? ...You thanking people?

The latter. *scratches the back of her hand* I know che-cherries and clockwork oranges aren't conflicting Color Fruits, but it sure feels like it sometimes.

Ah, right. You've got that whole thing going on... *Sassafras nods slowly.* Does that ever, like, really bother you? I'm sure there's stuff you could do to change or remove it...

It bothers me a bit, yeah. I mean, I know it seems like I get mad a lot about stuff, but I don't like getting angry. I seriously don't. ...Except where Sabrina's concerned, obviously. But anyway, if there's one thing I'd get rid of, it would be the "short" jokes. I'm on the order of 4'5", and I've heard a few people laughing over the years about how I'm shorter than that Taiga Aisaka lady.

Dulcinea: *stops texting for a moment* She's something like... 4'9", from what Aldonza's told me.

Taiga...? *Sassafras looks confused for a moment.* Oh, that's an anime character, right? Don't think I've watched that one. For a second I thought you meant someone from the manor... Anyway, I'm sure being short's not all bad! Like... you probably don't hit your head on things a lot? *She might be reaching with that one...*

I appreciate the thought, but actually I've hit my head a few times on the refrigerator handles in the kitchens.

She's talking about the freezers, actually. A few of them have handles where the bottoms of them are at the same height as her forehead. Poses a minor hazard to her when they're being opened.

She's only saying that because she's had that happen to her, too.

...Oh. Well then, um. I'm sure you can... Uh... *Sassafras thinks a moment longer, then gives up and shrugs.* Sorry, I'm out of encouraging words... Just, hang in there? I'm sure you can learn to put up with the jokes, and stuff...!

*sighs* I've been doing my best to hang in there since Jenny fed us those fruits. There's not really much else I can do. I appreciate you trying to encourage me, but there's nothing I can do beyond continuing to fight that never-ending battle against my temper.

Wow, that was almost poetic. Have you been eating books recently? That's not what they mean by a "high fiber diet"!

While I was closing up the stall, I got a text from someone who was working in the Manor's art gallery earlier. They've got some sweet artwork of Ambush's kid Ellen on display there now.

Oh, Ellen, huh? Nice. *Sassafras smiles.* I always liked her. Nice, quiet kid... Is the picture for anything in particular?

If I made sense of the story correctly, there's some 'timey-wimey' stuff in the works. Apparently at some point, Ellen cashes in a favor with Lady Circe in preparation for a fight against the Brotherhood's Blue dragon. *takes out her smartphone* Let's see, I know there was an image attached...

*works with it for a few moments* Alright, found it. *shows the image to Sassafras*
