Rumours and
Facts at MGA:
Rumors say that a student
from the BAH transferred to MGA, just to be with someone they loved.
Or was it the other way around?
There is a large minority of
girls who school here who like to pick on or even haze former boys.
MGA Rules and
School Policy:
Boys can safely visit during the day, but
cannot stay overnight on the Acadamy grounds.
This is an all-girl
school. Correctional measures will be applied to any students
breaking this rule. See page 9, para 5 of the application form.
School dorms are supplied for students, the paint scheme in each
room is selected based on the student's favorite color.
MGA actively canvases
the other dimensions for "hard luck cases" to take under
their wing as well as those with immense untapped potential. They
seem to prefer males. "bad boys" and "failed"
adults are favorites. They like to give these new girls a "second
chance" at life . All magical girls are required to be
attractive, and will never gain weight no matter how much they eat.
School magics will enforce this beyond graduation.
All
new Transformees get a charm bracelet. It's a slim silver
bracelet set with a single rose-pink stone that gently adjusts the
wearer to behaviour more suited to her new gender. The effects are
very limited to basic physical mannerisms, such as walking and how
one's body moves, and is fairly subtle. The intention was that the
new girls would not be ostracised by their still-male behaviour
patterns. The effects and glow fade as the wearer starts to adopt the
behaviour patterns herself, until the stone stops glowing entirely
when the wearer no longer requires the bracelet. At this point the
bracelet can be removed as a normal bracelet, otherwise it cannot be
removed except by a teacher. Many girls keep their bracelets as a
momento, stillwearing them despite the fact they don't need them.
Individual charms can be added to the bracelet if the new
girl requires further assistance in accepting her new self. These
secondary charms follow all the rules of the main bracelet - the
wearer cannot remove it until she no longer requires any of the charm
effects. Some of the charms include: Respect for teachers, respect
for students, use of a female name, violence reduction, mannerisms,
proper language, and soft spokeness.
There is also a necklace for students who require more assistance. It is more for mental behaviors, such as how one talks and the words that are used. It might tend to whisper in the girl's mind 'cute boy' when a cute boy passes by, and will attempt to 'speak' for the girl, making her words soft and well mannered if she doesn't try to over ride them.
For
particularly... recalcitrant students, the school also has a pair of
final deterrents. First is a pair of stud earrings. These merely
strengthen the effects of the other items, changing them from
suggestions that could be ignored to coercions that require a strong
mental effort to override, and not one that can be maintained for
long periods of time. The second is a pair of hoops that attach to
the earrings. These act as a filter which prevents the person from
acting "out of character. Desirable (feminine) traits can be
expressed freely, while undesirable (generally masculine) traits are
totally blocked and replaced with more appropriate expressions.
